SK Gov't unveils roadmap for hydrogen-powered economy

The government unveiled its vision for a hydrogen-powered economy Thursday, saying hydrogen-powered cars and fuel cells would create 43 trillion won ($38.2 billion) in economic value and 420,000 jobs by 2040.

Under the roadmap, the government plans to foster an increase in the number of hydrogen-powered vehicles on the road to 6.2 million in 2040 from 2,000 in 2018, and boost the number of charging stations from 14 to 1,200 nationwide over the same period.

5. Or when your country ranks 10th in Science education compared to the US 24th or

6th in Mathematics education as compared to the US 39th. Maybe a little less time teaching about Yahweh’s magic poofs and a bit more time teaching evolution might be in order.

12. So ''...with the might of the US military to arrive there should the need arise.'' has no value, eh?

"SK is 10th in defense spending globally. 2+% of its GDP goes for defense."....ya, and how much would SK's defense spending increase should the US remove all troops/equipment/etc from their country?

13. It would change to match the opposition from the North.

US forces are forward deployed. Being close to China and North Korea gives the US an advantage.

The last President who proposed removing US troops from South Korea was Jimmy Carter. It didn't happen.
