"No teacher wants to strike -- we would rather be teaching students in our classrooms"

(cough) bullshit (cough, cough)

I've never seen a group of people more self congratulatory about the "valuable work they do", with a lecturing tone about brainwashing the future of Amerika than "teachers".

They are always going on strike over everything and one thing is assured: Every year the graduation rate drops nationally, and every year they demand more pay.

I would think they would need to show RESULTS before demanding ever more pay, but they're too busy having sex with their students to worry about those little details (well, the women are, they get away with it over and over and over and over and over. Men have a "one and done" policy on that particular diddling of a dalliance).

Fuck them (thier wish for a raise, not what she's doing with the quarterback to justify his grade this semester) they dont deserve a dime, not one dime.

1. Now that we have all witnessed your total ignorance of the teaching profession, fuck you.

There are educators in our home who work long and hard to educate their students.

It is the political crap they are collared with, and must adhear to that limits their ability to teach.

It is the parents who have raised little selfcentered monsters who aren't housebroke, know no manners, and who have not been taught to repsect others that limit their ability to teach.

Parents are the primary teachers in a childs life and when they refuse to be effective parents they then blame the teachers.

Are you one of those kind of people?

2. I taught HVAC at night school

Therefore I AM an educator, and taught life skills.

And now that I've read the rest of your response, I agree with the source of the discipline problem, it's parents at home teaching bad manners and more and then ready to sue the district the minute their little angel comes home with a tale of woe, I'd think you'd be first in line to lobby for taking the cuffs off teachers and allowing them to control their classrooms again.

I remember hearing a slogan you probably know well (I know there's a different word for it, "slogan" is too short, but here goes):

The teachers are afraid of the principal, the principal is afraid of the superintendent, the superintendent is afraid of the school board, the school board is afraid of the voters.

The kids, they're not afraid of nobody, and in that lies the problem.
