1. You have conflicting reports on the matter of medical use.

Its placement as a Schedule 1 substance has kept it from being properly studied. There is some evidence that it is beneficial to those who suffer from seizures due to epilepsy and similar neurological ailments. But nothing proven in a laboratory setting.

3. UAB in birmingham is studying

It in use of adults and pediatrics with retractable epilepsy. The children's hospital in Memphis is as well. Preliminary studies show the CBD oil helps some. It's not a magic medicine though.

2. I think that's too broad of a question

I believe there are certain components of MJ that potentially have health benefits. I think more study is warranted.
