More half assed reporting, RE: "AIDS day"

There is one key "10 things" they left out which I will get to in a minute, but this is talking about the importance of sharing your HIV status with your partner, and having your HIV status checked to begin with, and that............well lets let them tell us....

Quote: 43% = HIV-positive people in the United States who are African-American E/Q

Now of course they'll be right there to tell everyone thats because AIDS is a CIA disease that was unleashed on the AA community to wipe them out long term, I would say it's because they can't keep it in they pants, and that many a black girl will tell you that black men get it on the "down low" much more than they claim, I guess they'd rather do that than take matters in thier own hands.

Quote: 8,164 = People ages 13 to 24 newly infected with HIV in the United States each year E/Q

13 to 24?? That would suck being a 13 year old kid who just got primed at school in sex ed for all the fun times ahead, got told to "just go do it" by the teach, you know it happens, and then when they come back next month with night sweats and a cold that wont go away all the teach says is "you should have paid more attention in class, we TOLD you to use protection, what a putz......."

Quote: 1.1 million = Estimated number of HIV-positive people in the United States
This figure works out to about 1 in every 200 people E/Q

Quote: $21.3 billion = Money spent on HIV/AIDS efforts in low- to middle-income countries each year E/Q

That's money that can be better spent here at home.

And the one stat that was suspiciously missing?

Quote: According to the CDC, men who have sex with men made up almost 67 percent (39,782) of the 50,000 people who contracted HIV in the United States in 2016 E/Q

Yeppirs, and I bet some of them were 13, their life is over before it ever started because society PUSHED them to do something they might not otherwise have done and that's a fact Jack.

1. The problem is that parents do not teach their kids about sex so they learn about it on the street.

Sex ed should be taught by a medical professional and not by any teacher who advocates for any social position.

2. As far as I knew parents relinquished control of the teaching of it to the NEA

They don't do it at home because they think its being done correctly at school, in the past the scenario you are describing was the rule which was why the schools stepped in and demanded the whole sex ed curriculum to begin with.

Now all we have is porno for pre teens, and teachers who cant keep thier hands out of the cookie jars.
