1. Yes, but I was promoted this year

I've worked four of the last six weekends and travelled abroad five times.

2. I've put in more OT

In the past three weeks than I did all of last year.
If this shit keeps up I'm buying a house and paying cash for it.

4. I mean

Actually works ... produces things or directly aids in the process.
Not walmart , the government or burger king.

5. The guy at Burger King produced my double whopper yesterday. I would call that work.

The lady at the DMV renewed my driver's license. I would call that work.

The lady at the Wal Mart deli made me some fresh chicken tenders. I would call that work.

Each of them produced something for me and I paid for it. That's how the system works.

Or are you just posting this so you can look down your nose at someone?

11. Ya, I put that wrong

I certainly didn't mean to come off as a leftist.

I meant people that work in manufacturing, construction and the like.

6. I work in manufacturing

And two customers that we do very little for have made a couple of big orders. One in automotive and the other in plastics.

7. Hmmm since the normal work year in the aircraft industry involves a distinct slowdown after

Thanksgiving and a need to catch up after The Christmas- New Year shutdown- YES the past six weeks have been above average busy. On the otherhand I am still working the same three year project which started a year ago............so point of the question?
