The story is the French 75 acquired it's name from the World War I, 75mm, field artillery gun. It hits the spot with a blend of champagne, gin for a kick, lemon, and some simple syrup if desired.

I can't drink it straight, honestly. But in a Car Bomb, I can down them like candy. Strange, I know.

My personal best was 7 in one night. Oh lord, that was a helluva night.
