1. You mean you don't have your own charity like the Clinton's do? You can't send yourself on a trip?

2. I don't write off charity

I do that quietly and under the table.
That way I know 100% of my money goes to it's intended purpose.

3. I applaud you for that. We do the same from our personal income we donate from our business as well.

I would suggest one of the veteran organizations or something for the special needs disabled.

St. Jude is my personal favorite charity.

We have a Teacher in the family and average a couple hundred a month just to her classroom. The district allows her $150 per school year for her classroom supplies. The supplies she utilizes and expends for her science instruction alone is about that every month.

5. I give to the Shriners every time I see them.

They are a fantastic organization.

6. St. Jude's is my exception

Was a favorite of my grandmothers.
I try to throw something at them every year.
I do it in my aunt's name since she has mostly picked up that torch since my grandmother died.

4. If you decide to make an exception

These charities are great:

Dannydid.org

Chelseahutchisonfoundation.org

These are epilepsy/SUDEP awareness charities that help many people.

And if you really want to help an animal rescue organization,

Strawberrymountainmustangs.com

This charity is horse rescue. I help them when I can. The need is so great.

7. The vet I take my dog to

Does a lot of free stuff.
It's just two little old ladies.
They generally charge just above their own cost for most people.
And will dip into their own pockets for someone in need.
I always leave them a generous tip when I bring my dogs in.
They always give the dogs a courtesy brushing and nail clipping.

It will be a great loss to this area when those ladies decide to retire.

9. Some local farms

Have actually set up trust funds that those ladies are in charge of.
There are separate ones for dogs, cats , horses, goats and even rescued fighting dogs.
Like I said, I leave a healthy tip and let them decide what to do with it.
I tell them to go out and have a nice dinner.
