Got a rescue dog last week

He is a seven year old Redbone Coonhound, about 80 lbs. He's been crated/kenneled for the past two years. Very friendly and happy to have a new home dog. So, I come back from a walk with him (I walk him twice a day in the parks) let him in the back yard. He bays for a few minutes then quiets down, but a new neighbor called the police on me for a barking dog. Cop told me under city ordinances if another neighbor complains, I could be cited. I asked to be cited so I could go to court and find out who my accuser is, nope. The cop was very nice and professional but would not give me the complainants name. I put my fender guitar amps on the back yard patio and played obnoxious rap music, full bore. Our city has an ordinance about loud music but doesn't kick in until 10 pm. The neighbor that complained about my dog baying came over at about 8 pm asking me to turn down the music as it offensive.ll She admitted to calling the police about a barking dog. So I turned off the music, it was hurting my ears anyway.

1. My beloved

Black & Tan Coonhound died almost 3 years ago. I still miss her terribly. That bay! I had neighbors call me to ask if I could get her to do it or they'd come to the fence to try to coax one out of her.

2. I had a Black and Tan Coonhound named "Hunter"

She was a Sweetie but also liked to Bay in the Back Yard....

Had a few notes from Neighbors ...unfortunately she got Lymphoma ...I don't think I'll get another for the noise factor. One Night a Raccoon was raiding our Bird Feeder and Hunter Chased him up the Support of the Gazebo and made a Classic Treeing Pose pointing him ....Pretty Cool
