3. Not at all

Although when my son was little he was a big Cubs fan because the Cubs came on TV in New Orleans. Mark Grace was his idol.

He did a year of his residency in Chicago. During that time his car was broken into three times. They fucked up his car pretty bad.

I'm just glad they didn't kill him. He didn't go to one Cubs game while there. When the Cubs were in the World Series, he didn't even pull for them.

11. Why is a trip to one of the world's greatest cities so SCARY

for so many Cons?

Let's do a comparison...where do you live, and how do the cultural attractions compare to Chicago? Personally I absolutely LOVE going to Chicago, so much to see and do. But again, tell me about where you live....

How many restaurants with a Michelin rating? Other incredible dining establishments as well?

A symphony that can compete with the Chicago Phil?

Museums such as The Art Institute of Chicago - second-largest in the United States - whose holdings include 'American Gothic', 'Nighthawks' and Monet's 'Water Lillies'? The Field Museum, Museum of Science and Industry?

Great architecture, including the Montauk, Rookery and Wrigley buildings, the Willis, Aqua and Tribune Towers? The The Carbide and Carbon Building, Robie House, Carson, Pirie, Scott & Co. building?

Institutes of higher learning, including the University of Chicago, Loyola, DePaul and many others?

Professional sports teams including the Cubs, Bears, White Sox, Blackhawks, Bulls?

Great theater? According to the League of Chicago Theatres, there are more than 250 theater companies in the city, hailed by London's The Guardian as "the theatre capital of America."

Incredible clubs and nightlife?

Do tell about the cultural attractions of your fair city/town and how they compare to one of the world's greatest cities!!!!

12. My primary residence is in the DFW area...we're good. The idea that all right-leaning posters here

are part of the unwashed-masses is just foolish.

I don't mind visiting Chicago, though I do so much less frequently these days. Like any metropolitan area, situational awareness is paramount.
