Our Earth changes - it's normal

Much discussion about our change in climate is prevalent nowadays, a lot of it consisting of theories of human intervention, etc., but I think what is happening now weather-wise doesn't have much to do with our human contribution to gases, etc. . . . .

Oh yeah, we humans have a detrimental effect on the condition of the seas, lands, forest etc., but I do not think we are responsible for the recent changes in the global climate issue.

Climate will continue to change , no matter what we do.

That is all.

1. There are people in this society

including politicians and academics who would have you arrested and charged for thinking and saying those things. Seriously.

2. Agreed.

Climate change has been occurring for millennia, will continue to do so and would have done even if human beings never inhabited this world.

There are many actions we could take to reduce waste which I'm all for. Spending money on theories, feasibility studies due to a manufactured "climate emergency" is better spent in areas where we can make a real difference.

3. This is not some amazing revelation to Climate Scientists

Nor is it a valid syllogism that “the climate changes naturally, therefore man made climate change is false.” If one acknowledges that the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere causes global warming, as has been routinely demonstrated over the millennia, and one acknowledges that the increase in CO2 in the last century is unprecedented, one has no option but to acknowledge the human impact on the climate.

4. I think what people fail to take into account

Is that we are still emerging from the last ice age. Measurements show the bottoms of The Great Lakes are still rebounding from the mass of the glaciers that once filled those basins. There is no perfect or optimal climate. It is always in flux.
