when I lived near a white supremacist
As already mentioned here, despite their alleged threat to American society, I’ve never met a white supremacist in the flesh--only in photographs from the newspapers, which usually show six or half a dozen of them marching in a suburb of Chicago, surrounded by hordes of people protesting their existence.
But then it recently occurred to me that I actually once lived in the same city as a white supremacist, and at the same time. He had zero adherents in his own city. His “party” was a one-man joke, but he was oftentimes described as the “number one Nazi in America.” Lincoln, Nebraska, at circa 185,000 population at the time, was small enough that one’s reasonable in saying one lived “near” someone in the city, no matter where one lived. It’s possible I might’ve bumped elbows with him at a grocery store, I dunno. During the 1970s and much of the 1980s, his movements were carefully described by the local news media—and perhaps the national media as well. Every trip he took to Europe to meet other white supremacists was chronicled. I always thought this biased reporting, because at the same time there were plenty of college professors from Lincoln traveling to confer with their Soviet socialist comrades, but those rarely got reported. There were so many of these trips they were simply routine, not news. If the trips provoked controversy, such as those to Cambodia or Nicaragua, they did make the papers, the professors coming back pronouncing Pol Pot and Daniel Ortega as “agrarian reformers,” great benefactors of humanity. And to add insult to injury, the white supremacist had to pay his own way, while all these others went at the expense of the taxpayers. It was pathetic, this guy, this “number one Nazi in America;” no matter where he went to collect followers, he never collected any, or at least in any number worth reporting. This is the sort of person who’s “the greatest threat” to America? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Lauck

1. i went to high school with david duke
he does have followers and is dangerous.
https://www.mediaite.com/tv/tucker-carlson-fan-david-duke-flips-out-on-shepard-smith-for-acknowledging-existence-of-white-supremacy/ do you think that a revolution requires 50% participation to succeed? the cia was happy with 10% in chile and Ukraine. they would be very happy with 10% in Venezuela or iran. duke had almost 40% in Louisiana. |

2. There is not even ONE percent of scary White Supremacists in the US. It's a Hoax.
Democrats need a boogeyman to run against, so they invented one.
