A documented miracle took place!

I wish to share with you a real documented miracle.

I have been suffering with a ongoing mitral valve failing. (mitral valve prolapse with stenosis and regurgitation).

One month ago I had a heart ultrasound done in prep for my cardio appt. on Friday 6/15 so my cardiologist could determine when to schedule open heat surgery for valve replacement.

I had gone from mild/moderate to moderate /severe in 9 months so surgery was anticipated in the near future.

I had shared with my students in bible institute and they had been diligent in prayer for God to intervene on my behalf (I prayed as well).

Last friday my cardiologist told me he had perplexing news to share and he did not know how to explain it. I expected to hear bad news. He told me that my valve had improved and that was just not possible! Damage could level off and not progress but he had never heard of a heart valve actually improving. The regurgitation was way down, the stenosis had become less stiffened and the prolapse was markedly improved. When we got to how I could explain it- he had to see his next patient. I have to return in 3 months and he wants to hear what I have to say! It is easy! I am going to let the Dr. know that I serve a living God and His Son Jesus and they hear and answer prayers!

The doctor called it miraculous and I do as well. He is amazed and dumbfounded and I am just joyful and peaceful knowing that God does what man thinks is impossible!

6. It has happened to others as well.

Not to take away from your post there and I'm glad you are doing better, I really am.
We argue a lot but I wish you no harm or hold any animosity towards you.
You probably still have me on ignore so you won't see this, but.

http://mvpresource.com/can-mitral-valve-prolapse-go-away-on-its-own/

For those asking “Can mitral valve prolapse go away on its own,” MVP can get better. While the affected valve’s condition will not normally improve, the symptoms of the disorder can, in some cases, becoming less frequent and/or intense. This may occur naturally or due to active mitral valve prolapse treatment. Symptoms such as angina and heart palpitations may even dissipate.

Now the valve itself cannot improve but misdiagnosis happens a lot with MVP. I know, my mother was misdiagnosed with it and thought she'd need surgery. The doctor was surprised as well, but there was no miracle involved.

8. Thanks for the well wishes!

I do not have you on ignore- just ignoring you when you just rant and rave!

Well my MVP and stenosis and regurgitation has been well documented. I have had multiple heart ultrasounds (i think 5 in the last 2 years and about 10 in the last 12 years)

I have a fib, an aortic aneurysm and a murmur that have been tracked and then they discovered the prolapse which 4 years ago was possible, then to mild, to moderate to moderate severe!,

This last ultra sound was the longest (almost 45 minutes) for this was one to deal with prepping for near or short term surgery.

The valve has gotten better (it is closing better), the stenosis has reduced and the regurgitation has markedly reduced. As my doctor said- this is not supposed to happen. Surgery is off the table for now. Iw as in A-fib when I was his office and he put me back on blood thinners. I do not tolerate warfarin well (almost had to be life flighted) , so he put me on eliquis. Boy $50 a month is more than I expected. Most of my other meds run $2 to $25 for a 3 month supply.

10. Yeah meds can add up pretty quick.

I figured you'd have a health plan to cover those since you work for USPS.
Hopefully your condition continues to improve. Take care.

13. You sound like a religious man, devoted to God

I'm sure you prayed and honored God each day

So why did you get heart disease in the first place?
