Lutefisk: The prize you get for an end run around God

https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/foodnews/go-fish-minnesota-pastor-writes-obituary-for-church%E2%80%99s-lutefisk-dinner-tradition/ar-BBQM8qn?ocid=chromentp

Lutefisk is a disgusting piece of fish that's been soaked in Lye and then water for several days then cooked and supposedly the end result is something OK for Catholics to eat that wasn't the origional product.

I don't know the specifics I thought fish was what had to be eaten instead of meat on Fridays, and so why there becomes a day even fish is no good I don't know, maybe it has something to do with a time of fasting, "Oh no God, this isn't fish, not anymore anyway, I can barely stand the taste of it as it is, here, have some....."

Uh, no, no, you go ahead......
