5. Well, you are the one who seems offended that I don't post tit-for-tat

I will restate the obvious again. No poster here has been more critical of Islam than I. I have often posted a link to the 2013 Pew Survey of Muslim (not “radical Muslim”) attitudes toward punishments for adultery and apostasy. From Thunderf00t’s “Use the Quran as a doorstop day” thru Sye Ten’s “Truck of Peace” series to Logicked’s recent series regarding “Science and the Quran,” I have been consistently critical of Islam.

Obviously, I post more criticisms of Christianity as there is a dearth of Muslims on the board and I’m not really a “me too” kind of guy. And certain brands of Christianity are particularly insidious as they seek to undermine our belief in science (YEC) or they prey on the weak and the elderly (Televangelists).

But, in general, I consider all forms of primitive superstion ridiculous.

But happy to oblige you on Friday.

7. Computer Science...

not really a science. Why not leave people to believe as they wish. Does it pick your pocket or break your leg?

8. Everyone can (and will) believe what they want and I am thankful for that

There would be a lot less amusement in the world if Christians, Muslims, Hindus and others didn’t believe in their superstitions. OTOH, perhaps without those beliefs, humanity might be much more progressed than we are now.

However, I don’t understand your problem. I will be accommodating the poster’s request in two days.

9. I dont care really...

many people believe as you do. That they see their ideas as progress while others are simply dogmatic morons. Hallmark of liberal thought.

10. For someone who doesn't care really

Your popping up here indicates that you do care really. And yes, historically progress has been a hallmark of Liberal thought while maintaining the status quo has been a hallmark of Conservative thought.

11. The real basis of liberal thought...

is imperialism. That they have a corral on virtue. That the bigger the government the better and that government should wield power over all of us. Liberalism is tyranny.
