Did you always notice how men always leave the toilet seat up?

That's the joke.

3. When I was a kid

I would always get up multiple times a night and make sure the toilet seat was up.

Then i would listen and laugh when my mother or sister fell in in the middle of the night!

Yes I was an asshole but still today I remember fondly the screams an threats of ass beatings when I heard them go splash!!

5. It is a balancing thing

i always look before i sit down....but i think the put the seat down was actually a rule invented by men when they were gentlemen to their ladies.... whatever, It ain't worth arguing about most of the time...

8. Bingo!

I never buy women's excuse for not knowing if the seat is up or down. It's not like women walk from bed to the toilet using a rear view mirror! My wife would never accept an excuse if I pee'd on the closed lid either.

6. Doesn't happen in my home . . . .

Only time the toilet seat is up is for cleaning.

My male guests are instructed to sit - or go outside (I got 28 acres in the boonies so that's a reasonable option).

My ex-wife from decades ago unintentionally "trained" me to sit - 3 times I got blasted for leaving the seat up, so the easy/permanent solution was to sit!

Much more comfy - and any lack of sobriety doesn't affect my aim so that it matters one bit . . .

9. Ha Ha ! If your toothbrush is less than 6 feet from your toilet, you're brushing with pee.

Maybe shit too, if you don't lower the lid before flushing.

Now there's a joke!

Go look up "toilet plume".

10. This is why

The husband and i built a bathroom with the toilet on one side of the wall with a sink in front of it to wash your hands. and then a sink on the other side of the wall with a sink to brush your teeth at. Our huge corner shower is set up so you get up in the morning go to the bathroom get in the shower, step out of the door on the other sideturn left and brush your teeth at the sink on that side. Sanitary and fun LOL
