With wind chills down to - 30.

1. 3, and I supposedly live in the south.

Got a GD heat pump, it's been running for 24 hours, and I'm only trying to keep the house at 65.

2. WOW!

In Chicago, they are setting railroad switches on fire to keep them working.

4. We have a dual fuel

system that turns over to propane at 40 degrees. The heat pump just can't keep up the cold here in WNC right now. I seriously felt a wind gust inside my house about an hour ago! It's so damn cold and winds gusting about 35+ that it invaded the house through the stove vent.
