Is Trump really healthy

Here is an interesting opinion article that asks some serious questions about the state of health of this 70 year old want-to-be politician.

Then, there is the doctor who allegedly signed this document. His name is Harold N. Bornstein, and he is a gastroenterologist. This kind of physician is a specialist who treats the digestive tract. This is not an internist, who is trained specifically in providing full histories and physicals of patients.

I am surprised that it wasn't signed by a proctologist, someone more familiar with Trumpism.

Pluto is for Trump

So is Dopey, I asked them when I visited Disney World last week.

Was Trump's 2nd Adm. statement an act of Sedition?

Sometimes, it is not only what you say, but how you say it, that can stir up trouble. It is the gestures, pauses, and facial expressions that can determine the interpretation of the spoken words.

If what Trump meant was that the supporters of the 2nd amendment should support and elected, in the National election in 2018, officials who would change what Hillary would be doing, as his campaign staff says he meant, then there is no problem with his statement.

But we need to be vigilant in that his statement was not covert, and leads to overt possible violent actions. I think that there may be a few unhinged individuals who would that it that way, which could lead to seditious act.

In law, sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward insurrection against the established order. Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent (or resistance) to lawful authority. Sedition may include any commotion, though not aimed at direct and open violence against the laws.

Seditious conspiracy (18 U.S.C. § 2384) is a crime under United States law. It is stated as follows:

“ If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both. ”

Proceed to blast away, Trump supporters.

Trump is finally on script

and he needs glasses.

I was watching his Friday night endorsement of Ryan & McCain, and noticed that they were written down on paper, which he had trouble reading, moving it in and out so he could see it.

Maybe his campaign Manager finally blackmailed Trump into endorsing them, but it really didn't sound earnest. The endorsement had to be written down by someone else. Trump really didn't look happy doing it.

Let's talk "White Trash"

It has been around for a long time, and there is a lot behind it. This some what long article traces the history and describes the current conditions of this class of citizens.

I am a self identified Redneck growing up in Central Ohio, close to the edge of the Appalachians. Thanks to a good occupation that took me many different parts of the US east of the Rockies, I have gotten to become friends with a lot of these people as well as African Americans. They have a lot more in common than most people think. If both classes could get over their prejudices and work to together, that could become a game changer.
