Suspect in Quebec mosque terror attack was of Moroccan origin

One of two gunmen who shouted 'Allahu akbar!' as they opened fire at a mosque in Quebec City was of Moroccan origin, a witness and local media reported Monday, revealing the first details about the attackers in the massacre that killed six men.

The terror suspects were identified as Mohamed Khadir and Alexandre Bissonnette, the Canadian TV network TVA Nouvelles reported. They were arrested soon after the shooting at the Quebec Islamic Cultural Centre Sunday night and were expected to appear in court later Monday, police told reporters.

One of the gunmen actually turned himself in, calling 911 less than 20 minutes later and giving officers his location in d'Orleans so they could arrest him, police said. The attack unfolded in the men's section of the mosque.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned the attack, calling it a “terrorist attack on Muslims.”

The attackers were students at Université Laval, a school in Quebec, a source close to the investigation told Radio Canada, saying one was Moroccan. Police said the suspects were not on their radar.

Nothing from NYT or WAPO. Funny how "real news" ignores what is inconvenient to their agenda.

Priebus on MTP: no advance notice that allows terrorists to move up travel date

Per @bradjaffy at NBC.

No foreign national in a foreign land, without ties to the United States, has any unfettered right

to demand entry into the United States or to demand immigration benefits in the United States.

Department of Homeland Security vows to enforce Donald Trump's travel bans, despite court order

It said:“President Trump’s Executive Orders remain in place - prohibited travel will remain prohibited, and the US government retains its right to revoke visas at any time if required for national security or public safety.”

White House officials also insisted there was nothing in the court order which impeded the executive order and it remained in full effect.

Regardless of their legal status in the US, citizens of Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia or Yemen have now been barred from entering the country even if they have the correct documentation.

It means something to be a US citizen. Trump is making sure everyone gets this point.

Protesters Plot "Border Wall" Rally For Tomorrow...At Zuckerberg's Sprawling $100mm Hawaiian Estate

Back in 2014 Mark Zuckerberg paid $100 million to purchase 700 acres of beachfront property on the North Shore of Kauai. The estate includes 1,000's of feet of pristine shoreline providing the perfect "safe space" for the 30-year-old Silicon Valley Billionaire and his family.

Unfortunately, there was just one little problem with the purchase...technically the sellers didn't own the title to all of that land due to the so-called Kuleana Act, a Hawaiian law established in 1850 that for the first time gave natives the right to own the land that they lived on.

So now, according to the Honolulu Star Advertiser, the Facebook billionaire sued a few hundred Hawaiians who still have legal-ownership claims to parts of his vacation estate through their ancestors. Per Yahoo Finance:

Three holding companies controlled by Zuckerberg filed eight lawsuits in local court on December 30 against families who collectively inherited 14 parcels of land through the Kuleana Act, a Hawaiian law established in 1850 that for the first time gave natives the right to own the land that they lived on.

The 14 parcels total just 8.04 of the 700 acres Zuckerberg owns, but the law gives any direct family member of a parcel's original owner the right to enter the otherwise private compound.

Zuckerberg picked a fight with the wrong people. Native Hawaiians are relentless in their protests. Ha good for Zuck

Trump To Launch "Major Investigation Into Voter Fraud"

Having stunned the media with his Monday night announcement before members of Congress during a private reception that Trump only lost the popular vote due to vote fraud, the president refused to back down the next day, when on Tuesday the White House said Trump stands by his belief that millions of people voted illegally in the U.S. election.

"The president does believe that," White House spokesman Sean Spicer told reporters. The press secretary said the president had said "3 to 5 million people could have voted illegally, based on the studies that he's seen" although he did not quote the studies.

Fast forward to Wednesday morning when anyone who wondered if Trump would let go of this particularly sensitive issues which attacks the legitimacy of his presidency, got their answer with a series of two tweets by the President, who shortly after 7am said that he will request a probe into US voter fraud to resolve the ongoing back and forth once and for all:

"I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and even, those registered to vote who are dead (and many for a long time). Depending on results, we will strengthen up voting procedures!"

The media insisted on facts? Scoffed at polls showing there are people voting illegally? Well he runs the Federal Government now and he can give you those facts when you insist on it. LOL!!!

Looks like the Dodgy Trump Dossier was put out by MI6

Theresa May was left preaching to a political church of sceptics and non-believers when she applied her best innocent face and said this dirty dossier was compiled by an ex-MI6 agent no longer employed by our government.

What she was not prepared to explain was why, as an ex-employee, he was afforded the protection of a special notice, 'a D notice', to try to conceal his identity.

As speculation rises that Mr Steele is being protected in an MI6 safe house, it appears the government may be pretending to hold him at arm's length when he is actually wrapped in the warm embrace of our Establishment, sanctioned by MI6, and acting in British interests.

Being unproven, it may not be the bombshell it was intended to be. But it is still a thermo-nuclear weapon dropped into the U.S. political system. If Mr Steele were a rogue private operative, that would be troubling enough. But the evidence strongly suggests otherwise.

I have no doubt that MI6 must have had full knowledge of his role in researching and then assembling his dossier, before offering it to Trump’s political enemies.

More damning still, it has been reported that Mr Steele sought the approval of Whitehall before showing his report to the FBI, America’s domestic intelligence agency.

In other words, British spy chiefs gave the green light to a scheme intended to destroy the man who would be President of the United States of America.
