Boy, the DUmpsters are pissed over this one

"Report this guy to the FBI or Secret Service" How much you want to bet either the FBI or USSS tells them to take a hike

I've a better chance getting shot going into the wrong neighborhood than I have getting shot at my local WalMart

Hey Gun Owners, did you know before the 1934 NFA there were 1.5 million Tommy Guns on the streets

Someone want to break the bad news to the DUmpsters

The guy at this WalMart was stopped by a CCW permit holder.

Sounds like this was some kind of stupid PR stunt and the idiot doing the open carry is lucky he didn't come out of the store in a body bag

Opps, looks like the DUmpsters just discovered the Dayton gunman was one of them

And the good ship Denial is at full sail

Well, at least the DUmpsters are true to form

Looks like the mall and property the Walmart in Texas are in were gun free zones

Found this on the DUmp of all places

"The property is owned by Simon Malls and all of their properties are marked gun free. In Texas those signs have legal consequences if ignored.

“Possession of any weapon at Simon malls, whether concealed or displayed openly, is in violation of mall policy. This policy is intended first and foremost to maintain a safe, secure and comfortable environment at our malls, which has always been our top priority, and to avoid any situation that could potentially place at risk the safety of our shoppers and employees.

Simon malls are private property, and like virtually every other facility in the community that is accessible by the public, ownership/management has the right to prohibit the possession of weapons, both displayed or concealed, other than licensed weapons carried by law enforcement personnel.

Julie Rigby – Longview Mall Manager”

I was wondering why no one with a CCW tried to stop the shooter today. That would explain it, no CCW allowed on the site

OK Gun Guys (and gals), want to see something pretty

Ain't it pretty

That's was my "Blue Sky" import marked USGI 1944 Inland M-1 Carbine. I decided after I bought a new production Fulton Armory M-1 Carbine last fall to have FA give this one the once over.

I had them replace the barrel with a new production chrome line Criterion match grade barrel. This is a better grade barrel than the US used on WWII production Carbines.

They recommended a new slide since the original had worn out of spec, new springs, extractor and a new firing pin in the bolt, new USGI hammer and I got a new front and rear sight installed. The rear was worn out and they recommended the set to have the height of the front match the rear.

Also had them repark the gun so everything matches up. Stock is off another Carbine I have since that carbine will go in down the road for a tune also.

Haven't fired it yet (just got it yesterday) but I was told they test fired it. This would be considered a "post war" arsenal rebuild by USGI specs to full "Service" grade or the current "CMP Special" grade. I'll run 200 rounds through it tomorrow at a local indoor range then when my normal outdoor range reopens after Labor Day give it a good zero and run it out to 100 yards

Looks like the Garlic Festival shooter used a SKS

That's what the police briefing just said.

Legal in California, looks like he bought it in Nevada.

I'm thinking it was modified to accept 30 round mags after he bought it.

I'm also curious about how he bought the gun, gun shops and gun shows in the area are pretty good at running background checks and he lived in California

How Long before Cop's start getting doused with gasoline

I've been watching the videos of cops getting doused with water and started thinking, it's only the matter of time and 1 punk with a grudge
