60% Dissatisfied With Immigration Levels

http://www.gallup.com/poll/181313/dissatisfied-immigration-levels.aspx
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- As congressional Republicans weigh whether to file a lawsuit against President Barack Obama for his executive actions on immigration, 60% of Americans say they are dissatisfied with the level of immigration into the country today. This is an increase of six percentage points from 2014, but is comfortably lower than the 2008 high of 72%. By contrast, one-third of Americans are satisfied with current levels of immigration.

Few issues on Gallup's annual Mood of the Nation poll saw such a drop over the past year in the number of Americans expressing satisfaction -- or the corresponding climb in those voicing dissatisfaction -- as the desired level of immigration. The poll, conducted Jan. 5-8, saw larger drops in such high-profile issues as the nation's security from terrorism (10-point drop from 2014) and a 25-point decline in satisfaction with the state of race relations.

The increasing level of dissatisfaction with current immigration levels comes at a time when immigration is once again a major issue in the political debate.

18 Doomer predictions from the first Earth Day 1970

18 spectacularly wrong apocalyptic predictions made around the time of the first Earth Day in 1970, expect more this year
How accurate were the predictions made around the time of the first Earth Day in 1970? The answer: “The prophets of doom were not simply wrong, but spectacularly wrong,” according to Bailey. Here are 18 examples of the spectacularly wrong predictions made around 1970 when the “green holy day” (aka Earth Day) started:

1. Harvard biologist George Wald estimated that “civilization will end within 15 or 30 years unless immediate action is taken against problems facing mankind.”

2. “We are in an environmental crisis which threatens the survival of this nation, and of the world as a suitable place of human habitation,” wrote Washington University biologist Barry Commoner in the Earth Day issue of the scholarly journal Environment.

3. The day after the first Earth Day, the New York Times editorial page warned, “Man must stop pollution and conserve his resources, not merely to enhance existence but to save the race from intolerable deterioration and possible extinction.”

But in all fairness you can find the same list masquerading as news on the cover of most any current newspaper or 'news' outlet or leftist website. They are still singing the same song.

Straw man + Armageddon = Strawpocalypse

"People who label sceptics 'deniers' will kill more people than the Holocaust"

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2566659/Are-global-warming-Nazi-People-label-sceptics-deniers-kill-MORE-people-Holocaust-claims-scientist.html
Are YOU a 'global warming Nazi'? People who label sceptics 'deniers' will kill more people than the Holocaust, claims scientist
‘When politicians and scientists started calling people like me “deniers”, they crossed the line. They are still doing it,’ he wrote in a blog post His reasoning for using the word 'Nazi' is because climate activists are, he claims, anti-capitalist fascists

Barack Obama, David Cameron and Richard Branson are all ‘global warming Nazis’. This is according to scientist Roy Spencer, who is a professor at the University of Alabama at Huntsville and a vocal denier of man-made climate change. Dr Spencer believe that people who label those against human-induced global warming ‘climate deniers’ will ‘kill far more people than the Nazis ever did.’ The radical claim was made by climate scientist Roy Spencer, who is a professor at the University of Alabama at Huntsville and a vocal denier of man-made climate change He argues, these same people should be appropriately labelled as ‘global warming Nazis.’

‘They indirectly equate the sceptics' view that global warming is not necessarily all manmade nor a serious problem, with the denial that the Nazi's extermination of millions of Jews ever happened’ wrote Spencer on his blog. ‘Too many of us for too long have ignored the repulsive, extremist nature of the comparison,’ he continues. ‘It's time to push back.' His reasoning in using the word Nazis is because climate activists are, in his words, 'anti-capitalist fascists'.

‘(They are) willing to sacrifice millions of lives of poor people at the altar of radical environmentalism,’ he wrote.

Real girl power!

The tolerant left: global warming style

We have seen this mindset in the past too. Invent a hoax. Spread the lie loudly and frequently through propaganda mills. Use the power of government to exterminate all opposition and undesirables.

NEW INQUISITION: PUNISH CLIMATE-CHANGE 'DENIERS'
Environmental activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lamented that there were no current laws on the books to punish global-warming skeptics. “I wish there were a law you could punish them with. I don’t think there is a law that you can punish those politicians under,” he said in a September 2014 interview with Climate Depot. Nor is Kennedy the first to want to prosecute those who argue against the “consensus” of manmade climate change.

“Those denialists should face jail. They should face fines,” wrote Adam Weinstein, staff writer with Gawker.com. “They should face lawsuits from the classes of people whose lives and livelihoods are most threatened by denialist tactics. … f you are actively trying to deny people the tools they need to inform themselves, to protect themselves against a scientifically proven threat to life and limb, you shouldn’t be part of the debate. You should be punished for your self-serving malice.”

On May 19, 2014, “PBS’ ‘Moyers & Company’ played a clip of scientist, David Suzuki, calling for politicians skeptical of man-made climate change to ‘be thrown in the slammer,’” reported NewsBusters. “ day later, a tweet by well-known alarmist Michael Mann suggested that skepticism could be a ‘crime against humanity.’ As least far back as 2006, and as recently as March 2014, liberal journalists and radical scientists have advocated punishing people who doubt catastrophic, man-made climate change.”

An extreme example came in 2012 from Richard Parncutt, a professor at the University of Graz in Austria, who called for the death penalty as “an appropriate punishment for influential GW deniers” because “they are already causing the deaths of hundreds of millions of future people.”

radical feminist wants to kill all men

‘KILL ALL MEN': LIB DEM ACTIVIST IN HATE SPEECH SCANDAL
A Liberal Democrat activist who sits on two national party committees has been suspended from her regional party after a string of sexist comments on social media. The activist in question, Sarah Noble, made multiple tweets of a disturbingly hateful nature, including “kill all men”, “fuck men”, and “die cis scum”.

The comments were brought to light by by HEqual, a gender egalitarian campaigning group. After being made aware of them, former Lib Dem Equalities Minister Jo Swinson was quick to condemn Noble’s comments. Writing on Facebook, Swinson said the comments were “completely unacceptable” and “in no way represent the views of Liberal Democrats”. The former Minister also said that Noble has been asked to delete her tweets and apologise. No apology has yet been forthcoming.

Noble sits on the national committees of the LGBT Liberal Democrats and the Secular & Humanist Liberal Democrats. She has also been elected to the executive committee of the National Union of Students’ LGBT wing, which, like the LGBT Lib Dems, has a zero-tolerance attitude towards hate speech. She is also a former team member of the “Atheism Plus Block Bot”, a twitter program that allows you to block predefined lists of users. The Block Bot’s creators claimed that the program blocks “trolls, abusers, and bigots”, but it faces growing accusations that this is merely a smokescreen for targeting people who offend them, such as the biologist and author Richard Dawkins. In the wake of Noble’s comments, the question of whether the Block Bot is really against all forms of hatred and bigotry is sure to be raised.

Hookers for Hillary

Bunny Ranch, Goldman Sachs--not much difference there.

‘HOOKERS FOR HILLARY': BUNNY RANCH EMPLOYEES ENDORSE HILLARY CLINTON
Prostitutes from Dennis Hof’s Moonlite Bunny Ranch in Mound, Nevada have officially endorsed Hillary Clinton for president.

With a new campaign called “Hookers for Hillary,” Hof says his girls will do anything they can to support Hillary.

“I’m reaching out to the Democrats in northern Nevada and saying ‘what can we do to help?'” Hof told The Daily Caller. “Air Force Amy has announced that she’s going to give another half-hour to any donor who donates to Hillary. An extra half-hour of time in the bedroom. That’s her way of supporting. All the girls are coming up with different things they can do.”

“Hookers vote too,” he added.

Colorado winter storm warning

I woke up to an inch of global warming on the ground and up to 3 feet of global warming expected in some places. Plan accordingly if driving in the high country or hiking.

Denver weather: Storm warning extended through Saturday for high country
Forecasters are calling for a chilly Thursday in Denver as a storm predicted to drop as much as 3 feet of snow in parts of the high country settles into Colorado.

The National Weather Service in Boulder has extended a winter storm warning from Thursday through Saturday morning for Jackson, Larimer, Grand, Boulder, Gilpin, Clear Creek, Summit, Park and Douglas counties. Over that span, the weather service says high-altitude areas could see 1 to 2 feet of snow, with locally higher amounts up to 3 feet.

The Colorado Avalanche Information Center warns that the snowfall could create dangerous conditions in the mountains and could leave slopes vulnerable to slides. "Backcountry travelers could encounter large avalanches on many slopes," CAIC said. "Evaluate the snowpack frequently and carefully." The weather service is calling for cold temperatures and a chance of snow in Denver through Sunday night.

JAPANESE television shows are known for being out there — but this karaoke game show comes with some stiff competition and a twist.

The show, Sing What Happened, involves contestants singing a song without becoming distracted by a woman beside them — who is giving them a handj*b.

To win, the contestant must finish the song without ... finishing. Do you get our drift?
