The Great Global Warming Swindle Full Movie

Global Warming Panic explained

Burton's Law

I now declare the Burton's Law as a corollary to Godwin's law:

Burton's law (or Burton's Rule of Racist Analogies) is an Internet adage asserting that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving racism or racist approaches" — that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to racism or being a racist.

You know it's true.

Way to go California Democrats!!!

http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-California/2014/06/07/Indicted-Senator-Yee-Scores-323-000-Votes-in-SOS-Race
Gun control advocate and State Senator Leland Yee, indicted for arms trafficking and public corruption in March, received the vote of 323,858 California voters as of Saturday afternoon. Yee was running for the office of California Secretary of State until dropping out in the wake of the criminal charges against him.

State Sen. Leland Yee was known as a champion of open government and gun control, but not any more. A 137-page federal affidavit accuses the lawmaker of soliciting and taking bribes from an undercover FBI agent in exchange for political favors. He's also accused of gun trafficking. Not just any guns, but automatic weapons and shoulder-fired missiles. The court documents read like a bad pulp crime novel.

oooops -- 49 NASA astronauts & scientists blast unwarranted claims about global warming

NASA Global Warming Stance Blasted By 49 Astronauts, Scientists Who Once Worked At Agency
Is NASA playing fast and loose with climate change science? That's the contention of a group of 49 former NASA scientists and astronauts. On March 28 the group sent a letter to NASA administrator Charles Bolden, Jr., blasting the agency for making unwarranted claims about the role of carbon dioxide in global warming, Business Insider reported.

"We believe the claims by NASA and GISS , that man-made carbon dioxide is having a catastrophic impact on global climate change are not substantiated, especially when considering thousands of years of empirical data," the group wrote. "With hundreds of well-known climate scientists and tens of thousands of other scientists publicly declaring their disbelief in the catastrophic forecasts, coming particularly from the GISS leadership, it is clear that the science is NOT settled."

James Hansen: a global warming denier???

http://www.giss.nasa.gov/research/briefs/hansen_07/
What's happening to our climate? Was the heat wave and drought in the Eastern United States in 1999 a sign of global warming? Empirical evidence does not lend much support to the notion that climate is headed precipitately toward more extreme heat and drought. The drought of 1999 covered a smaller area than the 1988 drought, when the Mississippi almost dried up. And 1988 was a temporary inconvenience as compared with repeated droughts during the 1930s "Dust Bowl" that caused an exodus from the prairies, as chronicled in Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath.

The U.S. has warmed during the past century, but the warming hardly exceeds year-to-year variability. Indeed, in the U.S. the warmest decade was the 1930s and the warmest year was 1934. Global temperature, in contrast, had passed 1930s values by 1980 and the world has warmed at a remarkable rate over the last 25 years.

Yet in the U.S. there has been little temperature change in the past 50 years, the time of rapidly increasing greenhouse gases — in fact, there was a slight cooling throughout much of the country (Figure 2).

More of the AGW hoax exposed

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/environment/10916086/The-scandal-of-fiddled-global-warming-data.html
The US has actually been cooling since the Thirties, the hottest decade on record
But now another damning example has been uncovered by Steven Goddard’s US blog Real Science, showing how shamelessly manipulated has been one of the world’s most influential climate records, the graph of US surface temperature records published by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Goddard shows how, in recent years, NOAA’s US Historical Climatology Network (USHCN) has been “adjusting” its record by replacing real temperatures with data “fabricated” by computer models. The effect of this has been to downgrade earlier temperatures and to exaggerate those from recent decades, to give the impression that the Earth has been warming up much more than is justified by the actual data.

When I first began examining the global-warming scare, I found nothing more puzzling than the way officially approved scientists kept on being shown to have finagled their data, as in that ludicrous “hockey stick” graph, pretending to prove that the world had suddenly become much hotter than at any time in 1,000 years. Any theory needing to rely so consistently on fudging the evidence, I concluded, must be looked on not as science at all, but as simply a rather alarming case study in the aberrations of group psychology.

more hopey changey

Obama policies to hurt the poor and elderly most. Just as socialist policies took Venezuela from an energy rich county to a country that can't keep the lights on, has food in the stores, or lack basics like toilet paper, Obamas policies will lead us down the same path.

Energy CEO says Obama DESTROYING low-cost energy with EPA
Murray Energy CEO Robert Murray says he is scared to death for this country, for poor people, those who live on fixed incomes and for people who are retiring. Murray says Obama is illegally using the EPA and the Clean Air Act to take over the US Electric Power Grid and in the process he’s destroying low-cost energy. Murray points out that coal is only 4 cents per kilowatt-hour and Obama wants to replace it with renewable energy sources, wind and solar, that cost 22 cents per kilowatt-hour. By 2030, according to Murray, we will be down from 40% coal-fired electricity to 14% coal-fired electricity.

Who is more responsible? Congress or the President?

Both left and right do it to make political hay---placing blame/credit on the President even when there is a Congress of the opposite party. Reagan had a Democratic Congress. Clinton had a Republican Congress. Both Bush and Obama had periods of single party rule.

Is there some consensus about who should take the blame/credit?

What can be more fun than this?
