Knife Rights' Texas Knife Law Preemption Bill Signed by Governor
June 17, 2015: Texas Governor Abbott has signed Knife Right's Knife Law Preemption bill, HB 905, which repeals local ordinances more restrictive than state law and ensures that the repeal of the Texas ban on switchblade (automatic) knives that Knife Rights passed last session will now be the law throughout Texas.

The new law goes into effect September 1. Texans should note that until the new law is in effect, they can still be charged with violations under existing law.

Knife Law Preemption is our most important legislative effort and the foundation for ensuring all citizens enjoy any gains we make repealing knife bans. Preemption repeals and prevents local ordinances more restrictive than state law which only serve to confuse or entrap law-abiding citizens traveling within or through the state. Preemption ensures citizens can expect consistent enforcement of state knife laws everywhere in the state.

Knife Rights passed the nation's first Knife Law Preemption bill in Arizona in 2010 and has since passed preemption bills in Alaska, Georgia, Kansas, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.

It's a good thing the Clintons don't care about money.

They really represent the 99%. Yay!
A college balks at Hillary Clinton’s fee, so books Chelsea for $65,000 instead
When the University of Missouri at Kansas City was looking for a celebrity speaker to headline its gala luncheon marking the opening of a women’s hall of fame, one name came to mind: Hillary Rodham Clinton.

But when the former secretary of state’s representatives quoted a fee of $275,000, officials at the public university balked. “Yikes!” one e-mailed another.

So the school turned to the next best option: her daughter, Chelsea. The university paid $65,000 for Chelsea Clinton’s brief appearance

It sure is rough to be "flat broke".

Yet more evidence of how far the gun grabbers will go.

You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before. Rahm Emanuel
The more that comes to light about the RCMP’s High River gun grab following last spring’s devastating flooding in southern Alberta, the more obvious it is the Mounties became obsessed with taking High Riverites’ guns. Rescuing people was secondary to breaking into homes without warrants and stripping the populous of their legal firearms.

It would appear that the incident is a tragic abuse of police powers against law-abiding citizens. Through the exemplary work of independent firearms researcher Dennis Young, we already know that police broke into twice as many High River homes after the emergency had ended as they did while flood waters were still coursing through town.

So how come Mounties felt the need to kick in nearly 1,300 doors after June 24, nearly double the number (674) they had kicked down in the first four days of flooding? The logical answer is that they had stopped looking for stranded survivors and had, instead, started focusing on disarming the civilian population.

Indeed, new documents just uncovered by Young show that Mounties kept seizing guns up until July 10, nearly three full weeks after the flood and more than two weeks after the first evacuees had been given the all-clear to return to their homes.

The mindset of the gun grabbers is the same everywhere. They are just waiting for any excuse (legal or illegal) to seize guns.

Socialist Pope enlists socialist whackjob Naomi Klein to promote the hoax.
The Pope has invited the socialist green activist Naomi Klein to the Vatican to co-chair a conference on climate change, alongside Cardinal Peter Turkson.

Klein is likely to be a highly controversial choice as co-chair, not only because it is unusual to see a non-religious figure leading sessions in the Vatican, but because she is staunchly socialist in her outlook: her most recent book is entitled This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate.

In it, she insists that the only way to save the planet from annihilation by climate change is to abandon capitalism. “In order for us to make the kind of progress we need to make in the short amount of time we have left we must confront the reigning, unquestioned ideology that sees privatization as always good, and doesn’t question the logic of austerity, doesn’t question the logic of pro-corporate, free trade deals that have stood in the way of progress on climate,” she told Macleans last year.
mmm mmm good

Q: What the difference between these two musical videos?

A: While both are useless leftist utopian dreamer tripe that produced no real results and help nobody, at least the Micheal Jackson video didn't waste $697,177 tax payer dollars.

Remember the doomers' predictions about more hurricanes?

For years the manbearpig acolytes have been predicting doom in the form of more hurricanes with greater intensities? Especially after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Ever since they have been perpetuating the scare. The problem is that reality doesn't believe the hoax.

Who thinks we should ban this symbol of racism and oppression?

It is the symbol of a political party that was founded by an evil white male slave owner, Thomas Jefferson, who many this week are calling for the removal of his memorial. The first President elected under this racist and oppressive party was Andrew Jackson who oppressed Native Americans with the Indian removal, Indian Removal Act and Trail of Tears. Other notable Presidents of this party were also raging racists. For instance Woodrow Wilson a notorious racist who re-segregated the federal government. To quote Wilson the subject of blacks, "self-preservation to rid themselves, by fair means or foul, of the intolerable burden of governments sustained by the votes of ignorant negroes." Wilson also excused the rise of the Ku Klux Klan in similar terms. The racist FDR went even further by imprisoning over 100,000 Asian Americans, and stealing their land and assets to benefit FDR's cronies and high level party officials.

In 1868 this same political party opposed the 14th Amendment (which gave full citizenship to freed slaves) with zero 0% support in congress. The 15th Amendment (which gave freed slaves the right to vote) passed in 1870 with zero 0% support in congress from this same political party.

This same party originated the Ku Klux Klan as primarily an arm of the political party in the Southern states. Its mission was to terrorize freed slaves and "ni**er-loving" (their words not mine) Republicans who sympathized with them.

In the 1960s, this same extremist political party opposed the Civil Rights act of 1964. Governors and mayor of this political party systematically and brutally oppressed African Americans, denying them access to eating establishments, education, and freedom to sit in the front of the bus.

Yes this political party symbol is every bit as offensive as the Confederate Flag. It should receive the same public attention and scorn.

What do you think?

New Black Panther Party chairman wants to "kill all of their goddamn families"

I'm feeling my white privilege already......
In an angry call to arms just a block away from the site of the Charleston massacre, former New Black Panther Party chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz told a group of about 200 African American Charlestonians that they need to “finish the mission” of killing “slave masters” and their families. He made the incendiary comments at the Save the Black Church rally held Tuesday night in Marian Square, close to the Mother Emanuel AME Church, where white racist Dylann Roof allegedly murdered nine black churchgoers.

In his speech, Malik Zulu Shabazz told the story of Vesey to the crowd and discussed Vesey’s scheme. “Denmark Vesey had a plan to kill all the slave masters in the state,” Shabazz proclaimed. “Denmark Vesey had a plan to kill every last one of them and kill all of their goddamn families.” Shabazz, whose remarks elicited applause, turned to current events, telling the audience: “We’re out of Denmark Veseys. And we need some new Demark Veseys today.”

This is what you get after 6 years of hopey changey.

AP photo shows a gun pointed at Ted Cruz’s head
In an Associated Press image that drew comment and criticism on Twitter on Sunday, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is seen speaking with what appeared to be a gun aimed straight at him. The photograph — taken by the AP’s Charlie Neibergall — actually captured a background poster, with a large semi-blurred image of a handgun pointed at Cruz’s forehead, straight between the eyes.

In fairness and equality I present these photos of various candidates:

Then there is always how the 'unbiased' news media presented the messiah:

EPA says climate change will cost the country $180 Billion

According to an EPA & White House report, the horrors of climate change will cost the country $180 Billion between now and the end of the century. DOOM DOOM DOOM But let's do the math. There are 85 years between now and the end of the century. That means the average annual cost of climate doom would be $2.1 billion per year.

The EPA's FY 2014 enacted budget is $8.2 billion. Dissolving the EPA would save the country $2,377 billion over the next 85 years. This assumes an annual budget increase of 8% per year. So the cost of the worthless bureaucrat doomers that infest the EPA will cost 13 times more than the (most likely wildly exaggerated) cost of climate doom. That's a good deal in government land.
E.P.A. Warns of High Cost of Climate Change
In the absence of global action to curb greenhouse gas emissions, the United States by the end of the century may face up to $180 billion in economic losses because of drought and water shortages, according to a report released Monday by the White House and Environmental Protection Agency.

White House officials said the report, which analyzes the economic costs of a changing climate across 20 sectors of the American economy, is the most comprehensive effort to date to quantify the impacts of global warming.

“The results are quite startling and very clear,” Gina McCarthy, the administrator of the E.P.A., said in a news briefing with reporters. “It’s very clear that climate action now pays. It saves lives and cuts costs. These are really big numbers, and we can limit the losses if we act now.”
