Evil racist Republicans once again show their bigotry and hate

by voting for an African American as the Colorado Republican Senatorial candidate. I hope someone comes along soon to explain how this happened in a predominately white square state in fly over country.
Darryl who? Glenn overcomes a lack of name recognition to win GOP Senate nomination

In a little less than 18 months, Darryl Glenn went from underdog to top dog.

Glenn, who stunned four other candidates Tuesday to win the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate, was a relatively unknown El Paso County Commissioner from Colorado Springs when he announced in January 2015 he'd seek to become the GOP's challenger to Democratic incumbent Michael Bennet.

In contrast to some of his better-financed opponents, Glenn raised only about $157,000 through June 8. He spent just $106,510 through that period; in contrast, opponents Robert Blaha of Colorado Springs and Jack Graham of Fort Collins - both successful businessmen - spent $932,000 and $1 million, respectively. Glenn also finished ahead of former Aurora City Councilman Ryan Frazier and former state Rep. Jon Keyser.

How do you define a fringe minority?

Would 4% be considered a fringe minority?

An MSBNC online poll asking if “people should be allowed to carry guns in public” found that 449K respondents said “yes,” with only 19K respondents saying “no.” The poll is non-scientific, but it was open to the public and it appears the public responded.

Those taking the poll read one question, “Do you believe people should be allowed to carry guns in public?” They then chose from three possible answers: 1. Yes! The Second Amendment guarantees it. 2. No, it’s too dangerous. 3. Only for self-defense.

Questions about no fly list restrictions

There is a movement among some to prevent people on the 'no fly' list and the 'terror watch' list from buying/possessing guns. I gather this is because it will provide some measure of safety or security to the public at large.

* Why is there a 'no fly' list? Isn't this a tacit admission that TSA is pretty much useless? Aren't TSA security measures supposed to protect passengers/airplanes?

* If a person is so dangerous they can't be allowed to fly, what else can't they do? Why just restrict commercial flight? Can't these same 'dangerous' people board a train, or a bus, or attend a crowded movie theater, or go to a NFL football game? Why is the 'threat' to airlines so special?

* Should a person on a watch list be prohibited from buying gasoline? One gallon of gasoline has the explosive power of 14 sticks of dynamite. What damage could a dangerous person do with 20 gallons of gasoline? Or a 100 gallons? or 1000 gallons?

* How about fertilizer? The Oklahoma City bombing was done with fertilizer, fuel oil, and a rental truck. That killed 169 people. A lot more deaths than any mass shooter with a gun. Why don't Democrats want to ban people on the no fly list from buying fuel oil or renting or owning trucks. Don't people killed by bombs count? Why is getting killed by a bullet so special?

My point is the current round of hysteria regarding guns and the no fly list is pure politics. It is simply a bunch of political turds using tragedy and blood to advance their political ideology. It has ZERO to do with public safety.

Oh yeah. The no fly list is a complete waste too. Nothing but security theater to appease the masses.

It Only Took Eight Years For This Innocent Woman To Get Off The No-Fly List
As previously reported, the No-Fly list contains approximately 60,000 names. The Terror Watch list holds nearly one million. Many of the names on these lists, if not the majority, belong to people who have no ties to terrorism at all.

Currently, it can take years for an innocent individual to get off the list. Take for example Rahinah Ibrahim, an innocent Standford professor and PhD student who was improperly placed on the list. It took her eight years to get off.

In 2005, Rahinah Ibrahim, a Malaysian architecture professor and doctoral candidate at Stanford University, went to San Francisco International Airport where she was told that she couldn't board an airplane.

Her name was on a government no-fly list of suspected terrorists. Eight years of court battles later, a federal judge agreed that Ibrahim didn't belong on the list. The FBI ultimately acknowledged that she ended up on there because an agent investigating her had checked the wrong box on a form, said her attorney, Elizabeth Pipkin. Chillingly, the U.S. Justice Department never disclosed why Ibrahim was being investigated in the first place.
Ibrahim isn't the only person this has happened to, she's just the only person who was able to get off the list through the court system. There are plenty of nightmare stories from dozens of Americans who were placed on the list and found it impossible to get off. Ibrahim became the first and only person to be removed from the no-fly list by the courts, but Pipkin said it took “eight years and $4 million of pro bono attorney work to accomplish that feat."

We should thank the Dems holding the sit-in in the House of Representatives.

Every day Congress meets another piece of individual liberty is destroyed. Every law passed takes one more step to centralized authoritarian rule. Any thing that shuts down Congress is a good thing.

A rare instance of truth and balance about guns from the media.

Hold on to your seats. You won't see this very often.

Is it Time to Prosecute Global Warming Alarmists?
The Attorney General from Massachusetts, Maura Healey, the AG from New York, Eric Schneiderman and several other far-left radicals drunk on their own power are making fantastical claims that Exxon “knew” that burning their evil, filthy, nasty oil and natural gas is causing Mom Earth to warm up, so they’ve been serving subpoenas to Exxon to turn over ever piece of communication the company has ever had, so they can build a case against Exxon’s free speech (see NY AG Targets/Accuses ExxonMobil of Lying about ‘Climate Change’). As wrote, these far-out libs represent the rise of the new Enviro Nazis (see Rise of the New (Environmental) Nazis – Free Speech Under Attack). But what’s this? In a master stroke, another group of AGs have ridden in to town and are using the fossil fuel haters tactics against them. The argument being used by the haters is that knowingly covering up global warming from burning fossil fuels is tantamount to committing fraud–and they’re threatening lawsuits based on fraud. The new group of AGs is saying hold on there a minute. If it’s fraud to minimize the effects of global warming, why wouldn’t it also be fraud to overstate the case? The new group of AGs is dropping the not-so-subtle threat that they may go after “green” companies (and individuals) who intentionally overstate the effects of so-called global warming. Love it! Rub their green noses right in it! Below is a copy of the letter sent to the haters telling them to back off Exxon Mobil and other fossil fuel companies…

Three Syrian refugees rape a little girl at knifepoint in Idaho before urinating on her
Three Syrian refugees reportedly raped a little girl at knifepoint in Idaho before urinating on her body, an incident that prompted furious residents to accuse Twin Falls city council members of covering up the assault.

The little girl was playing outside Fawnbrook apartment buildings when the boys put a knife to her throat and forced her inside a laundry unit. She was then stripped naked, raped and urinated on. The 13-year-old reportedly told the younger boys to urinate on her because they were incapable of ejaculating.

When she arrived, the mother of the alleged rapists was only able to say “no police,” while the father reportedly congratulated his 13-year-old son. Video of the entire assault was captured on the boy’s cellphone.

Aloha snackbar!

The cause of global warming explained.

I bet somebody offers this Iman a federal grant to further study the problem. After all this tripe makes about as much sense as mainstream global warming hysteria.
Iranian Cleric: ‘Improperly’ Dressed Iranian Women Cause Climate Change
A senior Iranian cleric from Isfahan, Iran, said “immorality” among young Iranian women, stemming from dressing “improperly,” is resulting in climate change and causing the rivers and dams in Iran to run dry.

During his weekly Friday sermon, Imam Seyyed Youssef Tabatabi-nejad said, “My office has received photos of women next to the dry Zayandeh-rud River pictured as if they are in Europe.” Tabatabi-nejad added, “It is these sorts of acts that cause the river to dry up even further,” according to the Iranian Student News Agency.

He added that “improper veiling” also contributed to this unnatural phenomenon. Just last month, the Iranian regime arrested eight Instagram models for “promoting immoral and un-Islamic culture and promiscuity” by appearing on the social media platform without wearing the mandatory hijab, a head covering that is often required under Islamic Sharia law.

In 2010, Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi, a senior Iranian cleric, said women who wear revealing clothing and behave promiscuously are to be blamed for earthquakes. “Many women who do not dress modestly … lead young men astray, corrupt their chastity and spread adultery in society, which increases earthquakes,” he said.

In praise of the .22-250
Offering almost 3,700 fps of predator-dropping velocity with a 55-grain projectile, a .22-250 gives around 12 percent more speed and 20 percent more ft-lbs of impact energy than a .223 with the same bullet. And that’s giving the .223 the benefit of a 24-inch barrel and all the velocity it can milk out of it—many guys hunt predators with 16-inch barreled AR-15s.

Insignificant, you say? Not so. The .22-250 carries over 550 ft-lbs of energy at 500 yards, opposed to the .223, which carries only 402 ft-lbs at best. As the late, great, legendary Jack O’Connor taught, speed kills (especially on thin-skinned predators). Where less-than-perfect hits are concerned, more is better.

Protest all you want. There’s no denying the facts. The .22-250 shoots flatter, hits harder, and is more accurate than the .223.

Can the .223 compete with the speed of the .22-250? Nope. Nor can it equal the .22-250’s ability to transform high-dollar bobcats into hideous rags of fur, flesh, and bone.
