Harry Reid’s Bodyguard Physically Attacks “Crapitalism” Author Jason Mattera

One of Harry Reid’s bodyguards accosted a conservative journalist for asking a few basic questions about the Senate Majority Leader’s wealth.

Jason Mattera, author of the explosive new book CRAPITALISM: Liberals Who Make Millions Swiping Your Tax Dollars, recently caught up with Reid and asked him, “How did you become so rich working in government?” The senator refused to answer.

The video is a must-see. Harry Reid really does think he is a king. He doesn't have "body guards", he has violent attack dogs who have obviously been trained to physically assault anyone who asks this man - who makes decisions for Americans - any questions he doesn't like.

I'd be curious to see what kind of answer liberals here have to the question asked by the reporter:

"How did Harry Reid get so rich?"

And before the libs here go off on the credibility of the site, the video doesn't lie. Doesn't matter who put it out there...the video shows what happened, so discussion should address the fact of what is shown on the video.

Twisted Ivy: Harvard students say US bigger threat to world peace than ISIS

“As a Western civilization, we’re to blame for a lot of the problems that we’re facing now,” one student said during an interview. “I don't think anyone would argue that we didn't create the problem of ISIS, ourselves.”

Most of the other students interviewed shared the same sentiment — that ISIS would not exist had it not been for the past actions of the U.S.

“American imperialism and our protection of oil interests in the Middle East are destabilizing the region and allowing groups like ISIS to gain power,” said another student.

Intelligence does not equal common sense....obviously.

Is anyone surprised?

His family is claiming bias.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson, who's serving as a spokesman for the family, said that was a concern.

"I would tend to think that those who do not have insurance, those who do not have Medicaid, do not have the same priorities as those who do," the civil rights leader said.

Here come the lawsuits. This man came to the US, deliberately endangering numerous people in America, because he knew he had been exposed. Who knows how much money was spent on his care. And now his family is bitching about him not receiving good enough care?!?

The few doses of experimental drugs went to US citizens. But they think it should have gone to him instead.

News reporting that a 2nd person is now showing Ebola symptoms

Is supposedly one of the people who had contact with the now deceased Duncan.

Care now is an urgent care in a suburb of Frisco, which is in Dallas.

This wouldn't be one of the family members in legal quarantine, because they wouldn't be able to go to an Urgent Care. Either this is someone in the "outer" circle of folks just being monitored....or it's someone they missed when contacting folks.

Jesse Jackson uses Ebola patient's family to get news time

Relatives of Thomas Eric Duncan glimpsed him using a video system at Dallas' Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on Monday. But when they returned anew, this time with the Rev. Jesse Jackson, they decided such images were too much.

Are you friggin kiddin me?!?! What in the heck is Jesse Jackson doing there.

I know the man knows no bounds in getting news time, but would he really stoop so low as to use this man's family as a platform for advancing his celebrity status?

Stomach turning. Just incredible.

What kind of keystone cops protocol is the CDC using here?

Troh’s other daughter, Youngor Jallah, 35, who cared for Duncan before calling the ambulance to get him, was told Sunday by CDC officials that she no longer has to isolate herself and her family.

“They came today to say it is okay if I want to go out,” she said.

What the hell?!?! She cared for him while he was vomiting, having diarrhea, and sweating with fever....yet they tell her she doesn't have to wait the full 21 days before going out into public?

Grimes Staff Caught on Hidden Camera: She’s Lying About Support for Coal Industry

“If we can get her elected do you think she is going to do the right thing and she’s gonna try to wipe out that coal industry and go for better resources?” asks an undercover videographer in one segment of the video.

“I absolutely think she is,” responds Fayette County Democratic Party operative Gina Bess.

Grimes said this at a campaign event with Bill Clinton:

“Let me set it straight for you Mitch McConnell. I am the pro-coal candidate in this race,”

But wait...

“She’s saying something positive about coal because she wants to be elected,” said Ros Hines, a staffer in Grimes’ Lexington campaign office. “And in the state of Kentucky, if you are anti-coal, you will not get elected, period, end of conversation.”

“She has to say that,” remarked Juanita Rodriguez of the Warren County Democratic Party. “But you know what? Politics is a game. You do what you have to do to get . … It’s a lying game unfortunately. I really don’t think her heart is 100 percent in backing coal. But she has to say she is because she will not get a high number of votes in this state if she doesn’t. But she’s got to get in there first and she’s gonna say whatever she has to say or do. And that’s the way the political game is played

Officials look for homeless person described as possible contact with Dallas Ebola patient

DALLAS — Authorities in Dallas are trying to locate a homeless person who might have had contact with the lone Ebola patient diagnosed in the U.S.

Dallas County Judge Clay Lewis Jenkins didn't identify the person, whom he described as a "low-risk individual identified as a contact." He stressed that the effort to locate the person was precautionary and that the person had not committed a crime.

Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said the person was in a group of 38 people who may have had contact with the Ebola patient, Thomas Eric Duncan

Democratic Pot called the GOP Kettle Black

In June, here on Discussionist, I read a post titled:

GOP Straight Up Bribes Democratic Senator In Effort To Block Obamacare
The Republican Party in Virginia has resorted to what appears to be outright bribery in its ongoing effort to deny low-income residents in the state access to the Medicaid expansion authorized by Obamacare.

The Washington Post is reporting that Republicans offered to move Democratic state Sen. Phillip P. Puckett and his daughter into prestigious jobs in exchange for Puckett's resignation, which will flip the chamber into Republican hands. Pucket will officially accept the offer on Monday, the paper reported.

But then lo and behold, I read this today in the paper:

Aide to McAuliffe apologizes about job-offer call

The chief of staff to Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) apologized Friday for what he said was “poor judgment” in his bid in June to keep a Democratic state senator from resigning his seat by offering to help find his daughter a state job.

Partial transcript from Reagan's call:

“If there’s something that we can do for her, I mean, you know, we have a couple of big agencies here that we still need agency heads. We could potentially, potentially, subject to approval of the governor and so forth, you know, the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy could be available.

“So we would be very eager to accommodate her, if, if that would be helpful in keeping you in the Senate. We, we would basically do anything. We just need you really, we need you for the rest of your term and beyond, but in the immediate future, we need you to help us get this Medicaid deal through and I think we’ve got a way to do it.”

Looks like Democrats have quite a lot of egg on their face on this one.

Border Patrol on alert after 71 people from hard-hit Ebola countries illegally enter U.S. this year

A CBP report published online earlier this week on broke down where undocumented immigrants are coming from and, between January and July of this year, at least 71 people reportedly arrived from the three West African nations hit with the current Ebola outbreak.

I wonder how many are on their way now?
