China Sides With Russia In Syrian War, Will Provide "Aid And Military Training" To Assad

Ever since the return of the Syrian war in 2015, which has seen both US alliance forces and as - of last - September, Russian forces too, jousting for political influence in the region under the guise of fighting ISIS while in reality either seeking to oust or preserve the Assad regime, one major player was missing: China.

That is about to change as the last major superpower enters the world's most volatile - and dangerous - region.

Beijing and Damascus have agreed that the Chinese military will have closer ties with Syria, and provide humanitarian aid to the civil war torn nation, a high-ranking People's Liberation Army officer said, adding that the training of Syrian personnel by Chinese instructors has also been discussed, according to Xinhua.

As has been historically the case, China tends to leave Middle Eastern diplomacy to the other permanent members of the U.N. Security Council, namely the United States, Britain, France and Russia, while relying on the region for oil supplies. But lately, for unknown reasons, China has been trying to get more involved, including sending envoys to help push for a diplomatic resolution to the violence there and hosting Syrian government and opposition figures according to Reuters.

The Director of the Office for International Military Cooperation of China's Central Military Commission, Guan Youfei, arrived in Damascus on Tuesday for talks with Syrian Defense Minister Fahad Jassim al-Freij, Xinhua added.

The True Story Of How War Broke Out In Syria

Barry and Hillary should be tried for war crimes

The day before September 11, 2001 was like any normal day in New York City. September 10, 2001 was unaware of the earthshaking events which would happen the next day. Similarly, one might think the day before the violence broke out in Deraa, Syria in March 2011 would have been an uneventful day, unaware of the uprising about to begin. But, that was not the case. Deraa was teaming with activity and foreign visitors to Syria well before the staged uprising began its opening act.

The Omari Mosque was the scene of backstage preparations, costume changes and rehearsals. The Libyan terrorists, fresh from the battlefield of the US-NATO regime change attack on Libya, were in Deraa well ahead of the March 2011 uprising violence. The cleric of the Omari Mosque was Sheikh Ahmad al Sayasneh . He was an older man with a severe eye problem, which caused him to wear special dark glasses, and severely hampered his vision. He was not only visually impaired, but light sensitive as well, which caused him to be indoors as much as possible and often isolated. He was accustomed to judging the people he talked with by their accent and voice. The Deraa accent is distinctive. All of the men attending the Omari Mosque were local men, all with the common Deraa accent. However, the visitors from Libya did not make themselves known to the cleric, as that would blow their cover. Instead, they worked with local men; a few key players who they worked to make their partners and confidants. The participation of local Muslim Brotherhood followers, who would assist the foreign Libyan mercenaries/terrorists, was an essential part of the CIA plan, which was well scripted and directed from Jordan.

Russian Stocks Soar To Record Highs - Up 60% Since White House "Sell" Order

Russia's MICEX stock index rallied to all-time record highs today. This is likely very disconcerting for The White House as since the March 2014 lows when they issued the following statement: "If I were you, I wouldn't invest in Russian equities right now," Russian stocks are up 60% - tripling the 19% gains in the S&P off those lows...

Is "Special Government Employee" Huma Abedin The Smoking Gun In Hillary's "Pay-To-Play" Scheme?

Having previously warned that Hillary "is often confused," Clinton's top aide, Huma Abedin - previously best known for standing by her husband Anthony Weiner after his sexting scandal - is now at the center of the Clinton Foundation - State Department debacle. As Bloomberg reports, for the final eight months of Clinton's reign as Secretary of State, Abedin worked for both The Clinton Foundation and as a "special government employee" at The State Department.

Huma Abedin stepped down from her post as deputy chief of staff at the State Department and Hillary Clinton’s ever-present personal assistant on June 3, 2012. Only she didn’t really leave.

Instead, in a reverse twist on a program intended to bring talented outsiders into government, Abedin was immediately rehired as a “special government employee.” She also took paying jobs with the Clinton Foundation and Teneo Holdings, a consulting firm with international clients that was co-founded by a foundation official who also was Bill Clinton’s long-time personal aide.

Abedin’s multitasking in the final eight months of Hillary Clinton’s time as the top U.S. diplomat -- and her role as intermediary for some of the same players before that -- are drawing renewed scrutiny after a conservative watchdog group’s release last week of a new batch of e-mails to and from Clinton aides. Abedin has become the personification of an election-year debate over whether the nonprofit foundation will create conflicts of interest if Clinton wins the White House.

Obama Considers Nuclear ‘No First Use’ Policy

I wish it were a joke or the Onion but unfortunately it is Barry going all in.

I want a 308 rifle and I just can't decide.

i have two ARs. One with a red dot for the 50-100 yard range and the other with scope for anything under 200 yards.

So, how important is semi auto for 200 + yards

Because I have ARs part of me wants an AR-10 so all the operations are the same and easy for the wife to switch from gun to gun.

But I have always wanted a M1A.

I have 2 Sig 9mm, so I got to looking at the Sig SSG 3000 bolt action and actually made an offer on one yesterday- not sure I want it though. I do like that it has a five rnd mag but not sure about a bolt actions except that they don't get negative headlines like semi autos and black guns

I want a gun that I know has the least chance of becoming illegal in 20 years. If I eventually have to hand over the "scary" guns, I want a canon that slides under the radar

Your thoughts would be appreciated.
