New York Slimes Reporter solicits information to Expose Christian Schools

In a disgusting Thursday afternoon tweet, New York Times reporter Dan Levin solicited information from people on Twitter looking to “expose Christian schools”, as if they were some kind of a scourge. The Hill media reporter, Joe Concha unloaded on Levin for going into it with a “nefarious agenda” during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson Tonight.

In the midst of discussing how the liberal media take it easy on their allies and beat up on conservatives, Concha called out The New York Times. “Read The New York Times today where they did a full feature on the Black Israelites. At no point do they reference the homophobic slurs that this group traffic in; the racist slurs that they traffic in,” he pointed out.

“And juxtapose that with this: with Dan Levin, New York Times reporter who tweeted out earlier … ‘I'm a New York Times reporter writing about expose Christian schools. Are you in your 20s or younger who went to a Christian school? I’d like to hear about your experience and its impact of your life,’” he continued.

Getting a little animated, Concha rhetorically wondered: “Gee, do you think this reporter’s going in with a nefarious agenda?”

Concha preceded to blast Levin for conducting a “disgusting” process to concoct his anti-Catholic hit piece:

And by the way, you can paint any public institution, if you solicit enough people, as a horrible place. Whether it be a public school, private school, Hebrew school, Muslim school. And this reporter is then going to present a story that’s going to be seen as objective by his editors, to readers who won't know better, to take down the Catholic institution, expose Christian schools. I don't use this word very often, Tucker, because I don’t like the whole hyperbole cable news thing, this is disgusting for a reporter to do this.

I could be wrong but I think they may have started the War on us already

Federal judge 'shocked' Clinton aide Cheryl Mills was granted immunity by DOJ

A federal judge said he was "shocked" to find out that longtime Hillary Clinton aide Cheryl Mills had been granted immunity from the Justice Department during the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton's server.

During a hearing in D.C. on Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth made the comment about Mills, Clinton's former chief of staff, during his opening remarks, referring to when he read the DOJ inspector general report.

"I had myself found that Cheryl Mills had committed perjury and lied under oath in a published opinion I had issued in a Judicial Watch case where I found her unworthy of belief, and I was quite shocked to find out she had been given immunity in — by the Justice Department in the Hillary Clinton email case," Lamberth said. "So I did not know that until I read the IG report and learned that and that she had accompanied the Secretary to her interview“

The FBI determined Clinton and her staff exhibited "extreme carelessness" by sharing classified information on an unsecured private server that was kept in Clinton's basement. Other individuals with ties to Clinton also received immunity deals over the course of the investigation.

This is what corruption looks like, James Comey and Eric Holder dipped the DOJ in shit

Top Clinton Aides face no charges for lying to FBI

The FBI agent who was fired from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation team for sending anti-Donald Trump text messages conducted the interviews with two Hillary Clinton aides accused of giving false statements about what they knew of the former secretary of state’s private email server.

Neither of the Clinton associates, Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin, faced legal consequences for their misleading statements, which they made in interviews last year with former FBI section chief Peter Strzok.

Chaos in the House: Pelosi knows the freshman caucus is out of control

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is determined to stop President Trump from delivering the State of the Union address on Jan. 29. She says it’s due to the shutdown, but that’s nonsense and just a political ploy. So what is the real reason Mrs. Pelosi doesn’t want the American people to see it? The increasingly obvious reason is the House is in chaos.

The moment Mrs. Pelosi sent her bizarre letter to the president suggesting he not deliver the address in the House and send a written report instead, you could hear the collective guffaw rise from the American people. To bolster her request, she cited a lack of security due to the partial government shutdown. That was absurd on its face and was summarily contradicted by the Secret Service.

At first blush, it would seem Mrs. Pelosi was attempting to keep the president from being heard, but that’s impossible. Another argument is she’s trying to strip him of the trappings of the presidency. That that, too, is completely futile.

Despite the media coverage presuming this is a Pelosi-Trump conflict, her action signals she doesn’t want the American people to see something damaging to her and the Democrats in general — which is a freshman caucus not in her control and more interested in stunts than in governing.

Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the new representative from New York, hasn’t found the time to open an office in her district for constituents, but she did organize and lead other freshmen to run over to the Senate to ostensibly confront Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell about the shutdown.

“The stunt — dubbed #WheresMitch on social media — came to an unceremonious and anti-climactic end after the pack first went to the wrong office of McConnell, then delivered the letter to his chief of staff, and ultimately declined to stake out the Senate floor,” Fox News reported.

Not only did they not bother to check his itinerary, but they also forgot to make copies of their letter, so Mr. McConnell’s staff did it for them.

Perhaps it would have been more their speed to rely on the traditional high school stunt of toilet papering the Senate chamber.

In the meantime, Miss Ocasio-Cortez went on the “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and promptly announced she “gives ‘zero ’ about people telling her not to ‘make waves’ with senior Democrats,” Real Clear Politics reported.

We’ve also had one new member use an obscenity referring to the president and her desire to impeach him, while another tweeted a vile condemnation of the Covington Catholic High School kids even after the accusations against them had been debunked.

Last year, even without the Democratic House caucus turning into “The Real Freshmen of Ridgemont High,” the Democrats pouted during the 2018 State of the Union.

“Several members during the address chose not to stand when Trump honored Louisiana Republican Rep. Steve Scalise and praised his resolve for returning to work less than four months after he ‘took a bullet’ from a gunman and ‘almost died.’ And they chose not to join in the applause for a 12-year-old boy in the gallery whom Trump praised for putting flags on soldiers’ graves on Veterans Day,” Fox News reported.

Many will recall the outrage from Democrats and others when GOP Rep. Joe Wilson of South Carolina shouted “You lie!” at then-President Barack Obama during the president’s health care speech to Congress in September 2009. Imagine what could happen with this current class of Democratic newcomers in the House of Representatives who seem to be under the impression that they’ve got their very own Capitol version of the “Burning Man” festival.

It’s already clear Mrs. Pelosi is not in charge of that chamber, and she is experienced enough to know that the juvenile chaos orchestrated by Alexandria and Friends will remind everyone that Democrats are the party of stunts, while Mr. Trump continues to govern in the face of a Democratic Party that knows only games and obstruction.

Mr. Trump likely knows this, as on Wednesday he sent a letter to Mrs. Pelosi telling her he would be accepting her earlier invitation and would deliver the State of the Union on Jan. 29 from the House chamber. Mrs. Pelosi reacted immediately. Her first letter was couched as a suggestion. Her response Wednesday was more specific.

” ‘I am writing to inform you that the House of Representatives will not consider a concurrent resolution authorizing the president’s State of the Union address in the House Chamber until government has opened,’ ” Fox News reported.

Considering the chaos with the Democrats, this isn’t surprising, but the president has more than a few options. There is an importance to Mr. Trump being in an environment that conveys the power of the office. He can deliver a speech to the Senate on the state of the union, without it being the official address. It also doesn’t need to be a joint session of Congress. If Democrats want to boycott, fine. The Senate environment is much smaller than the House, and those seats can easily be filled.

The American people want things to get done for this nation. That’s why we elected a man of action. The Democrats have two years to show voters what they stand for, and so far things are pretty clear: The Democrats are offering temper tantrums, stunts and reality television.

Petition to Censure Ilhan Omar

After the threat of legal action, Representative Omar has deleted a false and libelous statement from her Twitter feed related to the Covington Catholic high school students, and she has explained that it was an error due to forwarding false information. I have requested via Twitter that she make a formal written apology and post that on Twitter and other social media to clarify her full stance. Will keep you updated. Deleting the false and defamatory post is a welcome action from Representative Omar, although it does not exonerate her from the principal charge of promoting derogatory, insensitive and hateful communications, which disqualify her from holding public office.

We have witnessed all too often with Representative Omar that these hateful comments are couched in ways that are plausibly deniable but which make no doubt as to their intent. In 2012 she spoke of Israel “hypnotizing” the world with its “evil” ways. While she has acknowledged recently that this is traditional anti-Semitic trope and now that she knows this realizes the errors of her ways, this pattern has been repeated again and again. With reference to Mike Pence, she refrained “Jesus take the Wheel” and when confronted dismissed it has a harmless pop culture reference. Then, she made reference to Senator Lindsay Graham being “compromised” in some way, again an innuendo about the bachelor Senator’s sexual orientation – yet another common trope (there’s that word again) in Congressional circles.

The Covington Catholic smear left many speechless. After the sinister anti-Israel phrasing, the smug slight to Vice President Pence’s faith, the Washington wink and nod wrt/Senator Graham, the Covington Catholic tweet was a final straw for many. I immediately requested that the tweet be deleted and pleaded for her to stop, reflect, and delete the false references. I did this to save my district further embarrassment and because the hate was so palpable in the message.

But nothing happened until a threat came from of an out of town lawyer for a libel claim. She then deleted the tweet and breezily passed it off as (yet another) rookie mistake. I thought about rescinding this petition, but given Representative Omar’s repeated pattern of “oops, I did it again” the excuses have run out. I am also maintaining this petition, because her stance on Israel Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) has been determined to be anti-Semitic by several governing bodies. Personally, I do not immediately so link BDS IF (and key IF) the person making the case has a strong record of condemning human rights violations outside of Israel by both non-state and state actors. Representative Omar has been specifically non-responsive on the question of non-state actors and limited her criticism to a narrow handful of governments, not practices. This is unacceptable as a counterweight to her BDS position without further evidence.

Finally, I want to make crystal clear that this petition has NOTHING to do with Representative Ihlan’s professed faith or the Muslim religion generally. And PLEASE keep any derogatory or anti-Muslim comments off this petition. I myself am a Unitarian Universalist by tradition and along with Baha’i faith and other unitary theologies, we are very open to the lessons and teachings of other religions. I also believe fundamentally in the ability of people to change and mature, and it is my fervent hope that Representative Omar address the hate she has expressed.

Warren Staffer asks Historically Black College for Audience Demographics ahead of speech

The office of Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren appears to have been unaware she was set to speak at a historically black university last month when a staffer asked the school to provide the “demographics” of the graduating class.

“Would you be available sometime today or tomorrow to discuss a few details about the ceremony?” Christopher Huntley, a speechwriter for Warren, asked in an email addressed to Larry Jones of Morgan State University that was obtained by The Daily Caller. “It would be helpful to get a better understanding of audience demographics and the makeup of the graduating class in addition to any unique messages that will be associated with this year’s ceremony.”

Par for a woman who thinks there’s 2 branches of Government. Remember she TAUGHT at Harvard she didn’t go there (which explains a LOT)

Native American activist Nathan Phillips has violent criminal record and escaped from jail as teen

A drunk Indian, Go figure

Doing the job the media won’t

Nathan Phillips, the Native American activist who falsely accused Covington Catholic High School students of blocking him during a confrontation he initiated, has a criminal record — including assault and escape from jail — and appears to have misrepresented his military service.

Phillips, 63, suggested high school junior Nick Sandmann, the teenager at the center of the viral encounter after separate D.C. rallies, face expulsion for failing to "accept any responsibility” or apologize to Phillips publicly.

In his own teenage years and early 20s, Phillips, using his adoptive name Nathaniel R. Stanard, was charged with escaping from prison, assault, and several alcohol-related crimes, according to local news reports at the time from his hometown of Lincoln, Neb.

Phillips, who was 19 at the time, was “charged with escaping from the Nebraska Penal Complex where he was confined May 3,” according to a May 9, 1974, article in the Lincoln Star. The court approved a bond of $500 and set a preliminary hearing for May 14.

He pleaded guilty to assault on June 19, 1974, and was fined $200. In addition, he was charged with underage possession of alcohol in 1972, 1973, and 1975, as well as negligent driving. A destruction of property charge against him was dropped in August 1973, but Phillips was sentenced to one year probation for a related charge of alcohol possession by a minor. In December 1978, he was charged with driving without a license.

Phillips also appears to have misrepresented his military service in the U.S. Marines. In April, he was quoted by Vogue as saying: "You know, I’m from Vietnam times. I’m what they call a recon ranger. That was my role."

In fact, Phillips spent most of his time in the Marines as a refrigerator technician after initially being an anti-tank missileman for four months. Phillips, then named “Stanard,” was not deployed outside the U.S. and never saw combat, according to the Marine Corps.

Military records provided to the Washington Examiner show that Phillips served in the Marine Corps Reserve between 1972 to 1976 and held the rank of private, E-1, on April 18, 1975. According to records obtained by former Navy SEAL Don Shipley, Phillips was listed as Absent Without Leave (AWOL) three times.

The Lakota People’s Law Project, some of whose members participated in the Indigenous Peoples' March with Phillips and later encountered the Covington students who had taken part in the March for Life, described Phillips as a Vietnam veteran.

That was incorrect, but Phillips himself appeared not to have claimed he was in Vietnam, repeatedly describing himself in interviews as a “Vietnam times veteran." In 2000, however, he described himself to the Washington Post as having been "a Marine Corps infantryman," without mentioning that for the vast majority of his service he had been a refrigerator technician.

Phillips did not respond to questions about his military record discrepancies or his criminal record.

In an interview on Sunday with Rewire News, Phillips criticized the Covington Catholic students for their behavior, saying Native American children would not be allowed to act that way.

“We’re indigenous. We’re different than that. When we see our youth going the wrong way, we will go up and say, 'You are doing the wrong thing there nephew, or grandson,'" he said. “This is just the wrong way. I tell them, 'This is the way you have to behave. This is wrong, this is right. You gotta do it a certain way. We have protocols.'”

“You know, if was my child, I would not be happy with the school officials right now to allow my child to behave that way. I don’t care if my child is that way,” added Phillips. “When he’s out in public, he’d better behave.”

Phillips has described being forcibly taken from his birth family at the age of five and struggling with alcoholism as a young man before becoming sober. He has also spent much of his life agitating for Native American causes and seeking his own identity as a member of the Omaha Tribe.

He told CNN this week: "I was raised away from my family. I was put in foster care and so I didn't have a traditional indigenous upbringing. I was brought up just like these young guys were brought up. Well, maybe I wasn't Catholic school, but I was public school.

"And when I went back home to my reservation and I ask questions — 'Do you have an Indian name? Do you know where I could get some moccasins?' ... I wanted to know, and that cousin of mine that was sitting there, standing there and I was asking him these questions. He says, 'Go home, white boy.' That hurt."
