Eighth-grader’s $2 bill sparks police investigation in Houston

The Stupid is strong with this one!

A Houston eighth-grader was reportedly investigated for forgery after she tried to use a $2 bill to pay for lunch at school.

Danesiah Neal, a student at Fort Bend Independent School District’s Christa McAuliffe Middle School, said she was trying to buy some chicken nuggets with the $2 bill her grandmother gave her, but school officials confiscated the bill and said it was fake, a local ABC News affiliate reported.

“I went to the lunch line, and they said my $2 bill was fake,” Danesiah told the news station. “They gave it to the police. Then they sent me to the police office. A police officer said I could be in big trouble.”

School officials called Daneisha’s grandmother, Sharon Kay Joseph, and asked, ” ‘Did you give Danesiah a $2 bill for lunch?’ He told me it was fake,” the grandmother recalled.

An investigation into the $2 bill led Fort Bend ISD police to a local convenience store that gave it to Ms. Joseph, ABC reported.

Police were then led to a bank where the 1953-issued bill was examined and determined to be real.

“He brought me my $2 bill back,” Ms. Joseph told ABC. “He didn’t apologize. He should have, and the school should have because they pulled Danesiah out of lunch, and she didn’t eat lunch that day because they took her money.”

No charges were filed.

Baltimore's Shrinking Police Department

Because of Marylin Mosby, you're on your own down there!

The Baltimore Sun reports that in the year since the death of Freddy Gray, 271 sworn members have left Baltimore’s police department. Only 86 have been hired. The department currently has 284 vacant positions in a force of around 2,300.

It’s not difficult to understand the mass resignations (about 3 every 4 days). Gray’s death was followed by riots in which police officers were told to stand down in the face not just of looting, but of attacks on officers themselves. In addition, six officers have been forced to stand trial on what many feel are trumped up charges, after the city prosecutor basically admitted she was pandering to the mob.

Violent crime began to rise soon after Gray’s death. The trend has continued, with no end in sight. According to the Baltimore Sun:

Violent crime has continued at a staggering clip after reaching a per-capita record last year. In the past 12 months, there has been, on average, nearly a homicide per day. In the past week, the pace has been double that.

As the police department attempts to cope with this crime wave, it remains under intense scrutiny. Citizens are quick to complain about minor incidents. During a recent public forum, a mother demanded of the the mayor: “How do you repair a family after they’ve been damaged by the Police Department?” It seems that an officer had searched her son even though, according to the mother, “has never been in trouble, earns good grades and is involved in sports.”

Just how the officer was supposed to know the lad’s grades is unclear.

No wonder the head of the local police union says:

All of us are walking on eggshells. What’s the next explosive thing that’s going to set the powder keg off? What’s the next matchstick?

To make matters worse, the department is bracing for the results of a civil rights investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice and the trials of six officers charged in Gray’s arrest and death. The trials are spread out over much of the remaining year, pretty much guaranteeing that police morale will continue to decline.

As for the Justice Department investigation, it seems virtually guaranteed to destroy whatever is left of department morale. Like the city prosecutor, the Obama DOJ can be expected promote the twin goals of grandstanding and upholding a leftist narrative about the police at the expense of fair play for those who try to protect Baltimore’s residents. It’s no skin off the backs of Loretta Lynch and the leftist lawyers in her civil rights division if more police officers resign and crime continues to skyrocket in Baltimore.

Alberta woman, 19, left home to fight ISIS militants in Syria

(more balls than the Syrian "refugees" )!/fileImage/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/16x9_620/shaelynn-jabs.jpg

Four months after she graduated high school, Shaelynn Jabs went to Syria to join the fight against ISIS, where she took part in a women's revolution few westerners have even heard about.

Her mother dropped her off at the airport. They both found the courage to say goodbye, knowing they might never see each other again.

Many times during the months she fought with the Kurdish People's Protection Units, the 19-year old thought she might die. Once, on a rooftop, she was scouting for ISIS militants, hoping to stop them before they got close enough to lob a hand grenade.!/fileImage/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/original_300/shaelynn-jabs-face.jpg

"We were hearing on the radio about every five minutes one of our guys getting picked off," said Jabs. "My female commander got shot, and then my German friend got shot in the head."

Peering through the scope on her rifle, she could clearly see the militants faces.

"You just shoot," said Jabs. "You don't even think about it. Because you don't want to die and you don't want your friends to die."

She shot at the enemy but said that part is simply too "hard to talk about."

Rutgers Student newspaper destroys latest edition over Mohammed Cartoon

Way to go, Dhimmi's

The April 5, 2016 issue of The Gleaner, the student paper of Rutgers University–Camden, published a cartoon of Muhammad, Buddha and Jesus in a bar. Its content, however, cannot be known at this point, because at the behest of Muslims on campus, and in a case fraught with implications for the health of the freedom of speech today, the entire issue has been deep-sixed.

Two weeks after the cartoon was published, the April 19 issue of The Gleaner contained a letter from the Muslim Brotherhood campus group, the Muslim Students Association, saying that it found the image offensive and asking The Gleaner to remove the image from the April 5 issue and circulate a new edition of that issue without it. The MSA letter claims that Christians and Jews on campus told MSA members that they, too, found the image offensive.

This, however was allowed as part of a Rutgers Art Display

Update- The dartboard is gone too

Ultimately though, school administrators decided to take the artwork down and put it in a glass case with other pieces of art the same day that Caruso complained. And just hours later, they removed it from the library altogether.

Bill Nye, UN Climate scientists warns moviegoers to shun anti climate change movie

yeah, I bet they do

Leading climate activists are warning moviegoers to shun the May 2nd nationwide one-day theater screening of “Climate Hustle,” a new film debunking climate alarmism and its big government solutions.

Bill Nye (not a real “science guy,” FYI), who entertains the idea of throwing climate skeptics in the slammer, warned the film’s producer, Climate Depot publisher Marc Morano, that “Climate Hustle’s” content endangers not just the nation, but also the world:

Hmmm, I wonder why they are so adamant you don't see it?

Breaking: FBI arrests brother and other relatives of San Bernardino attacker

authorities in California arrested three people on Thursday who are tied to one of the San Bernardino attackers, charging them with lying under oath and participating in a fraudulent marriage. None of the charges directly relate to the terrorist attack last December, but the FBI says these counts directly stem from the investigation into the shooting.

The three people arrested are Syed Rhaeel Farook, 31, brother of one of the shooters; his wife, Tatiana; and Tatiana’s sister, Mariya Chernykh.

A grand jury returned a five-count indictment on Wednesday charging them with marriage fraud conspiracy and lying under oath to gain immigration benefits. In addition, Chernykh was charged with fraud, perjury and making false material.(statements?)

Things that make you go hmmm (Hillary edition)

Newsweek: Devoted Abedin Almost Cried Upon Learning Clinton Had To Carry Her Own Bag Upstairs

Hillary Clinton’s closest aide Huma Abedin is so devoted to her boss that she almost sobbed upon learning Clinton had to carry her own bag, a Newsweek profile revealed Thursday.

“Abedin took her duties so seriously, the source recalled, that when she learned that Clinton had once carried her own bag up a flight of stairs in her aide’s absence, Abedin nearly burst into tears,” Newsweek reported.

The same source said that Clinton once snapped her fingers and said “Gum” to Abedin.

“A lot of times, Hillary would snap her fingers and go, ‘Gum.’ And Huma would fetch it,” the source said.

Although Abedin no longer totes her boss’s bags around, she still carries Clinton’s infamous cell phone and serves her boss coffee and Mexican food.

It's Official, John Kerry is an idiot!

(What happened to Jobs 4 Jihadi's?)

Kerry denies Islam plays a role in Muslim Radicalization, Cites regular meals and companionship as reasons for joining ISIS

( – Religion does not necessarily play a role in radicalization of Muslims, Secretary of State John Kerry said Tuesday night, citing political repression and denial of rights as relevant factors, along with the lure of “regular meals companionship.”

In a speech at the Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University in Houston, Kerry acknowledged that “you don’t have to be poor or repressed or receive special training” to become a recruit of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS/ISIL/Daesh).
