NC Republican Party....Too stupid....

My wife got an "Important Voter Alert" in the mail today.

Nice big heavy stock mailer that says:

Your Voting Record is Public Information.

The News and Observer reported the Democratic Party has planned to share and publish your voting history.

On the reverse side:

The News & Observer reported the North Carolina Democratic Party and the Sierra Club have planned to publish your voting record and share it with you neighbors.

The Republican Party wanted to make you aware of this, so the Democrats won't have have the chance to embarrass you for staying home and not voting on Election Day.

What follows is something else:

The 2012 general, 2014 general and 2016 primary voting record for my wife and three of my neighbors.
So instead of the big bad Democrats and the ever so frightening Sierra Club these assholes beat them to the punch?

My favorite Trump quote

"Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart—you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it’s true!—but when you're a conservative Republican they try—oh, do they do a number—that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right—who would have thought?), but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners—now it used to be three, now it’s four—but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years—but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us."

Please forget the but Hillary deflections, can someone, anyone tell me WTF he's trying to say?

Trump points to plane, says it could be Mexico 'ready to attack'

Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump on Thursday pointed to a plane flying above his event and said it could be a Mexican plane preparing to attack.

"That could be a Mexican plane up there - they're getting ready to attack," Trump said as the plane flew overhead.

Trump, delivering a speech about trade in New Hampshire, said he respects Mexico and its leaders but bashed the United States's trade agreements with its neighbor.

Donald Trump under fire for spamming foreign politicians with donation requests

Donald Trump came under fire Wednesday for soliciting campaign donations from foreign lawmakers in emails asking them to “make America great again.”

The fundraising emails, which appeared to be written by Trump himself, were received by members of the United Kingdom, Australian, and Icelandic parliaments last week. Another email, dated June 22, was purportedly written by his son, Donald Trump Jr.

snip

Federal law prohibits candidates from “knowingly” soliciting foreign donations, and for that Trump, or at least his staff, would have to be “aware of facts that would lead a reasonable person to inquire whether the source of the funds solicited, accepted or received is a foreign national, but the person failed to conduct a reasonable inquiry.”

Raleigh visitors bureau says HB2 is affecting Wake economy

A report released by Wake County’s leading tourism agency on Monday says that the county has lost more than $700,000 in response to the controversial House Bill 2 – and could lose millions more.

The visitors bureau reported that 16 other groups, the names of which it didn’t disclose, also are reconsidering plans to hold events in Wake County. The groups would bring a combined 73,500 people to the area and infuse an estimated $24 million into the local economy, the report says.

Citing HB2, Deutsche Bank freezes 250-job expansion in Cary NC

Deutsche Bank on Tuesday announced that it will freeze plans to create 250 jobs at its Cary location due to House Bill 2, which sets statewide discrimination policy.
Deutsche Bank employs 900 people at its software application development center in Cary. In September 2015, the bank announced its plan to add the 250 jobs through 2017 and invest $9 million there through the end of this year. North Carolina agreed to provide about $3.3 million in incentives for the expansion.

I was wrong. Trump really can bring manufacturing jobs back to the USA

He just needs to start making the stuff he sells in the USA instead of China, Bangladesh and Mexico.

" But Trump does the same thing. Many of his products are made outside the United States. Most Donald J. Trump ties are made in China. Some Donald J. Trump suits are also made in China.

Donald J. Trump signature men's dress shirts are made in China, Bangladesh or "imported," meaning they were made abroad.

And it's not just Donald's products. Harvard professor and trade expert Robert Lawrence analyzed over 800 items in the Ivanka Trump fashion line. There are shoes, dresses, purses and scarves. All are "imported." "

SNIP

Lawrence found that none of Ivanka Trump's clothing line appears to be made exclusively in the United States and 354 items are listed as made in China.

Trump doesn't dispute this.

"I talk about my ties in speeches. I'm open. I say my ties many times are made in China," Trump told CNN's Jake Tapper in July.

"It's very hard to have apparel made in this country," Trump said.
