Didya hear Pt2- LOL trump's rudy says Mueller can interview, but not ask the following- LOL

Four drum rolls please-

this is so funny I looked 4 times to make sure it wasn't the onion or satire

So trump and trump's Rudy has the audacity to tell Mr. Mueller that they will only talk about this,
but won't talk about anything else, because, well, well

(if one asked me, IMHO of course) trump not wanting to talk about this that and the others means
that indeed trump sure enough did what he don't want to talk about.

What more can be said!

the above is my opinion, however, here is an article based on the above, in case anyone asks for a link-

Thank you Miami Herald for giving Alexandria Ocasio Cortez some great publicity in Miami

Thank you Miami Herald for giving Alexandria Ocasio Cortez & Lin Manuel Miranda major publicity
(thanks to the esteemed poster on another thread for leading me to that article)
-link to article can be found here-https://www.discussionist.com/10151773092

Is it front page, how cool is that.

BTW- if the Miami Herald is indeed putting Alexandria Ocasio Cortez on the cover, I want to say
THANKS to them for giving Alexandria Ocasio Cortez publicity, especially in Florida.
Lin Manuel Miranda should get a shout out too.

There is plenty of room in the Democratic party (and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez IS part of the Democratic party)
for many of my favorites in Florida Gwen Graham, and I am a big fan of Charlie Crist, who when no one else
would, slapped down Bush family specifically W and Jeb Bush when it mattered to me.
(plus for personal reasons).

The more Democratic folks that come out to vote, the more Democratic winners in November.

So thank you Miami Herald for the publicity for Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.

John Kerry-trump surrendered & just stood there & did not defend America.

https://politicalwire.com/2018/07/22/quote-of-the-day-1990/
“One of the most disgraceful, remarkable moments of kowtowing to a foreign leader by an American president that anyone has ever witnessed. It wasn’t just that it was a kind of surrender. This is dangerous. The president stood there and did not defend our country.”
— Former Secretary of State John Kerry, in an interview on Face the Nation, on President Trump’s news conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Ex Republican Governor, friend of Rudy G calls on trump to RESIGN donald trump

https://politicalwire.com/2018/07/17/ex-republican-governor-calls-on-trump-to-resign/

Former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman (R) called on President Trump to resign after he refused to stand up to Russian president Vladimir Putin over election meddling.

Said Whitman: “Mr President, you should be ashamed. To deny your own country and government in favor of a foreign leader whose country has, for decades, tried to undermine the United States is irrational and dangerous. Please step down, you are not fit to lead this great nation.”

"either way, it is clear trump is willing to sell out American Democracy for his personal gain"

https://politicalwire.com/2018/07/16/not-really-that-shocking/
Trump Shows the World He’s Putin’s Lackey
Maybe the president is exactly as compromised as he looks.
(c) Michelle Goldberg
Michelle Goldberg: “While I was as shocked as everyone else, I shouldn’t have been. Trump’s behavior on Monday recalled his outburst at Trump Tower after the violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, when he insisted there were ‘very fine people’ among the racist demonstrators. Both times, everything Trump said was in keeping with things he’d said before. The shocking part was his frankness. Then, as now, it forced, if just for a moment, a collective apprehension of just what a repulsive abomination this presidency is.”
“It’s always been obvious that Trump does not hold Russia’s hacking of the 2016 election, which he publicly encouraged and gleefully benefited from, against Putin. None of us yet know the exact contours of Trump’s relationship with Russia, whether Putin is his handler, his co-conspirator or just his hero. But it’s clear that Trump is willing to sell out American democracy for personal gain.”

Senator John McCain rips into trump re: trump/Putin press conference July 16, 2018

Here is the statement from Senator McCain's Senate site in it's entirety

https://www.mccain.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?ID=A99FDA26-673D-4560-B4EA-5AEDF0685EC5

Today’s press conference in Helsinki was one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president in memory. The damage inflicted by President Trump’s naiveté, egotism, false equivalence, and sympathy for autocrats is difficult to calculate. But it is clear that the summit in Helsinki was a tragic mistake.

President Trump proved not only unable, but unwilling to stand up to Putin. He and Putin seemed to be speaking from the same script as the president made a conscious choice to defend a tyrant against the fair questions of a free press, and to grant Putin an uncontested platform to spew propaganda and lies to the world.

It is tempting to describe the press conference as a pathetic rout – as an illustration of the perils of under-preparation and inexperience. But these were not the errant tweets of a novice politician. These were the deliberate choices of a president who seems determined to realize his delusions of a warm relationship with Putin’s regime without any regard for the true nature of his rule, his violent disregard for the sovereignty of his neighbors, his complicity in the slaughter of the Syrian people, his violation of international treaties, and his assault on democratic institutions throughout the world.

Coming close on the heels of President Trump’s bombastic and erratic conduct towards our closest friends and allies in Brussels and Britain, today’s press conference marks a recent low point in the history of the American Presidency. That the president was attended in Helsinki by a team of competent and patriotic advisors makes his blunders and capitulations all the more painful and inexplicable.

No prior president has ever abased himself more abjectly before a tyrant. Not only did President Trump fail to speak the truth about an adversary; but speaking for America to the world, our president failed to defend all that makes us who we are—a republic of free people dedicated to the cause of liberty at home and abroad. American presidents must be the champions of that cause if it is to succeed. Americans are waiting and hoping for President Trump to embrace that sacred responsibility. One can only hope they are not waiting totally in vain.
