Journal Archives

LOL--- in politicalwire (c) there are 2 articles back to back

the first was about Putin/Russia so called "troll farm" having to hire English speakingnewsmen higher security now is stopping the relentless anti-Democratic noise from working like it did in 2016 so they are looking for an end around...

then the next article was from the biggest tool Ron Brownstein, working against the Democratic
party for decades now (and whose second wife is a Republicans media spokesmen)
Yeah, one of the biggest concern trolls telling the Democratic party they just can't do it.
(like he and his idol have done for decades with the biggest false line of all time that both parties are the same).

thanks for the concern Ron and Ralph. I think I shall pass.

symmetry. I do love me some symmetry.

I just found that amusing in a sophisticatedly ironic way.

that is my opinion, now it's off to the races, back later.

and Congratulations go out to Mr. Holder, a Civil Rights Hero.

I do hope Mr. Holder considers running for President, and accepts the VP position if offered.

Working to secure the vote for all, much like on this day of remembrance, Dr. King did

that is my opinion.

IMHO-I find it adorable-officeholders that want de-regulation on regs, want to reg Facebook

What business does Congress have in facebook?

and want to get rid of all types including health regulations so that the consumer has no way of knowing
on all things far far far far far far far far far more important than social media.

one article after another does say that anti-Semitism is again on the rise and that Jorg Haider extremist candidates are popping up everywhere in the world makes me wonder if the anti-Zuckerberg campaign these days is because he is Jewish(and I myself am Jewish and the anti-Semitism offends me)

but then I guess (this is another subject, anyone who didn't vote for Hillary or actively support Hillary would be
happy with Bolton. If only it were MIchael Bolton. While not the biggest fan, at least he has a nice smile.

I am finished with demagogues in all parties that raise their fists, yell and scream and are always angry
and repeat the same stale lines over and over and over again like being at a Journey concert and hearing a song I never liked when it first came out (and Steve Perry was singing it). (or a pseudo-Beach Boy concert
with the multi-inferior Mike Love replacing the talented members).

And now there is certifiable proof that Guccifer was a Russian agent, ergo, the fake-wiki-leaks were all faked
or heavily edited/changed and that fake wiki leader Stone/Assange all have anti-Democratic goals working
with Putin.

note- all the above is my opinion based on things I have read.

Cool! Gavin Newsom and Dianne Feinstein have mega-landslide leads in California.

(I think the article I read, which I can't find at the moment, is so adorable making it seem like
Dianne's race is close by saying double digit, when in fact, she leads 42 to 16, which in my book
is a landslide.

Wouldn't it be something though if Jerry Brown (whom I voted for 3 times in the past, ended up President in 2020. How cool would that be.

IMHO Bannon Uehlein Vicky Mercers Alex $$paid$$ to weaponize facebook it seems

blaming Zuckerberg would be akin to blaming those yellow flowers the Kent State students put in the
National Guards guns in a symbol of peace for their own demise, especially as when it was proven later an agitator
that was not the kids yelled fire

the proof is in that it was a Republican dirty trick
ergo, put the blame where the blame should be

and I always thought there was something suspicious about Brexit
that being the case

Good Queen Elizabeth and/or soon to be taking the throne, King Charles, should use their power and cancel Brexit

that is my opinion.

and they say climate change isn't happening. Silly.

Species Jump and how instant memes and those instant polls are done

Now I know how Putin, Stone, Breitbart, Drudge, Bannon, etc. do polling & instant memes

It was quite well explained last night in the show I was watching (which for some reason started 32 minutes late) and the minute after talk after that show I watched,

Species Jump
where the constants remain constant
and it multiplies in instants (like the fake after-debate or other internet polls)

(wouldn't surprise me if Roger Stone and Steve Bannon, et al all are behind that "deep state"(a new meme word right there) poll and are laughing and laughing

STORMY Weather, Super delegates plus RIP Russ Solomon & other OPINIONS Mar11, 2018

First off, everything here is MY personal opinion and I am sticking to it. (March 11, 2018)
=========================
Rest in peace Russ Solomon (more about Russ at the bottom of this long post)
...
...Was watching a Dick Cavett show that featured Lily Tomlin and they were talking about
Lester Maddox (who if one reads his wiki is constantly referred to as a Progressive like other progressives like George Wallace and Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan ) and the years
go on, yup, worth catching the episode. And no, progressive does not mean liberal, and proudly I am
a 1960s JVL/LBJ unabashed liberal.

....next topic-
I believe the caucus should be abolished, and as to the small percentage of super delegates (which
differentiate from the total delegates (Hillary had it clinched with just regular delegates from almost the start,
as she got more votes (not to mention won by a landslide the 2016 popular vote election)
Caucus' are silly, I know going into a voting booth who I will vote for and what issues are most important
(and what issues and one paragraphs are not.) Caucus are like the phony after debate polls that are now proven to come from bots, and also caucus are manipulated by those who shout in your face the loudest to change
your vote Caucus is the single most non-Democratic method of voting (that is my opinion)
========================================================
but as to 2020-
a vote is a proxy.
And I will vote whomever My President, President & Michelle Obama vote for, and whom the Honorable
John Lewis & the CBC vote for, whom Elijah Cumming votes for, no matter if any of these people are super
delegates or not.
I also already know the 40 characters whom I won't vote for. (including any Kennedy not named Caroline)
nor a mayor of LA NYC nor fake liberals and fake Democratic folks like Mark Cuban or the Rock etc.)

I was happy to hear Eric Holder and Deval Patrick might run, that would be cool, they would have my
100% support, as would Michelle and Oprah (and trump is so scared of Oprah, she would so easily win
no matter how degrading trump would be against her (trump was always scared of both President Obama,
Michelle Obama, Oprah & Mike Bloomberg (who is the real liberal Democratic candidate that Cuban and Rock aren't.)

I would like to congratulate Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein and Kirstin Gillibrand (who went 10 for 10 the other day), and Kirstin has been #1 in voting against everything trump. Kudo's to Kirstin in 2017 & 2018 and going forth.

and...
What bad advice people are giving VP Biden to only run for one term, he would be lame duck from day one.
Better yet, Joe should run (because his being in the race deflates the candidacy of a lot of those people I find bland and boring like I find hearing Journey sing Separate Ways for the 'illionth time. One paragraph repeated
a million times, find a new song to sing, that bores me. (the song never was really great the first time,
same as when (just adequate) Mike Love fronts the Beach Boys (real in name only but without Brian & the Wrecking Crew there was nothing at all.)
(however Joe is not my choice for President in 2020 but I do hope he runs, and he should have entered the race last time (I believe Joe if he runs this time should do so early, however, he should not announce his VP early,
as that person might be running themselves.)
===============================================
Better tickets might be
...Harris or Gillibrand/Holder
...Harris or Gillibrand/Patrick
perhaps NJ Gov Phil Murphy as VP (of all the winners nationwide by Democratic candidates recently, Phil Murphy is impressing me the most)
or Gillibrand/Michelle
or Oprah/Gillibrand
======================================================
and NO to Cuomo. He and his dad lost my vote forever after his personal smearing of Ed Koch when he ran his pop's campaign that year
=======================================================

and YES, a decade of tax forms in full (both personal and business) should be mandatory.
If one doesn't release them like two 2016 candidates didn't, one always realizes something in them is not
on the up and up, otherwise they would release them...
Hillary (who won the popular vote) released all her tax papers
=============================================================
and I think a great place for the convention would be in Austin, Texas.
(I think Milwaukee is a horrible, horrible idea, I can imagine Walker would cause mega problems)
and I think it is far easier to turn Texas blue in 2020, than in Walker's Wisconsin where he keeps wanting
to Kobach the vote).
======================================================
Would like to see Cecile Richards run for office
congratulations Miro on your landslide victory for Mayor (one down two to go)
=======================================================
Rest in peace to David Odgen Stiers (who voiced 8 Disney animated films or more),of whom I always thought of as the new Victor Buono after the legend passed away in 1982 (always great to see Victor on old Carson's reciting poetry or in old shows, he always held his own and should have gotten more great roles like his nominated role in Baby Jane He was much more than King Tut.)
...

======================================================
and interesting to read about Eric Hagerman today in the NY times (can't get the link to work, so not linking it)
======================================================
and right on to #BLM, agree with the civil rights group 100%
=====================================================
and rest in peace also to former journeyman pitcher for many teams including the early NY Mets, Jack Hamilton who died a short time ago that single pitch he is remembered for, it was not on purpose. Tony C should have been inducted into the HOF after that happened, and would have been had it not happened. But Jack did not throw it on purpose. It was an accident but it led to real helmets
============================================================
Back to Russ Solomon, who died recently (who should be in the Music Hall of fame, but for some reason
this people person is not)
among other things, loved how you let each story stock their own, and loved how you did a show in strength
like a supermarket, by having extra "shelves" on the floor to show you had all the product to never run out
RIP Russ.
Someone said it correctly- back in the day, going into the 4th street Tower in NYC was like going to
the Met Museum of Art. You had to allocate at least 3-4 hours to properly see all that is needed to see.
and to work there, one had to have knowledge and a love for it.
=============================================================================

big question is-
will the Northeast get the 3rd storm of the century in 3 weeks this week, or will we luck out
and they say global climate change isn't happening.

edit to add-
I love DST
it is replenishing and rejuvenating
summer is coming

I congratulate President Obama and Michelle Obama -going to DC soon hopefully

Been on tour, but going to go back on the road soon making the pilgrimage to see both wonderful paintings in the National Art Gallery and hopefully the Cherry Blossoms (unless the weather plays havoc again as it was already in the 80s in DC the other day so it might be a very quick bloom again this year and might be very early.

President Obama the most popular politician in the country.
Is #8 on the chart (and congrats too to LBJ moving way up who spent the capital he had doing what no one else would have done anytime soon in that era in achieving the Civil Rights/Voting Rights acts).

Peace and Love and Courage.
Can't wait to see the paintings in person, heard there is one of the biggest lines and waiting time,
but like the voters in 2008 and 2012 would wait days on line

the path to 2020 is through the south
Voting rights
and I stand with Elijah Cumming, I stand with John Lewis, I stand with the Southern Women's group, I stand with BLM,
Social rights and individual freedom for all, far more important than money (which can't buy real love, can't buy happiness and doesn't buy any time).

and as childhood diabetes is such a major problem, my donations continue to Mike Bloomberg who
along with Michelle Obama has made wellness so important.

and congratulations to Oprah too for her donations this week.
If Michelle or Kamala or Cory or Eric or Deval or Elizabeth or Cecile don't I am 100% fine with Oprah.
(even added a bumper sticker to include Oprah).

How about Oprah/Kamala 2020? One of many tickets that would be ok with me

anyhow, haven't been here in a while, since then, I had time to listen to the 3 SOTU responses,
(I did not watch the speech nor spend one minute watching any political news or spin
but I have to say,
I was very impressed though with Elizabeth Guzman.
the others reminded me of going to a Journey and Chicago or a Beach Boy concert without Brian
a recreation of the hit brings back memories but its not 1960s, its 2018

Like President Obama (and I do)
forward, but sometimes, to quote Willie Nelson,
Still is still moving (c) Willie Nelson

Congratulations to Justice Ginsburg (clerked up for 2 more years now) & Justice Kennedy

Justice Ginsburg announced her hiring clerks for both the Oct. 2018-June 2019, AND the Oct. 2019- June 2020
sessions.

Justice Kennedy announced already he has hired the full # of clerks for the entire Oct. 2018- June 2019 session

They ain't going to be retiring.

(Now it is possible Clarence Thomas will go. Wouldn't it be something if Anita Hill replaces Thomas
upon his retirement. That would be Justice.

But Congratulations to both Justice Ginsburg and Justice Kennedy

BTW- I am sure Justice Ginsburg and Justice Kennedy both know ALL the words to the National Anthem.
Seemed from what I saw in clips as I did not watch the football game (I was watching the Good Doctor
and something else after) but it seems trump does not know the words to the National Anthem.

What a beautiful day it is.
Happy Tuesday

OPRAH 2020

#OPRAH2020

How cool would that be!
Perhaps she would get up to 87% of the vote
don's 13% core voters of course will always be his

Oprah / Michelle Obama or
How about Oprah/Kamala Harris or Oprah/ Deval or Oprah/Booker or Oprah/Gillibrand
or Oprah/Sheryl or Oprah/Cecile or Oprah/Doug Jones

or perhaps Oprah/Dana Gresham might be the perfect ticket

that's my opinion.
