I am crying. The Honorable General, Janet Reno has passed away. Thank you Janet, for everything.

Janet Wood Reno (July 21, 1938 – November 7, 2016) served as the Attorney General of the United States, from 1993 to 2001. She was nominated by President Bill Clinton on February 11, 1993, and confirmed on March 11, 1993.

Janet Reno was the first woman to serve as Attorney General and the second longest serving Attorney General after William Wirt.

In 2001, Reno appeared alongside Will Ferrell on Saturday Night Live in the final installment of the recurring sketch "Janet Reno's Dance Party". In another television appearance, on a 2007 Super Bowl XLI TV commercial, Janet Reno was among the guests at Chad Ochocinco's Super Bowl party.

Reno is also curating a compilation of old-time American songs performed by contemporary artists called the Song of America.

Reno also serves on the board of directors for the Innocence Project, a nonprofit organization which assists prisoners, who could be exonerated through DNA testing.

In March 2008, Reno received the Council on Litigation Management's Professionalism Award, which recognizes and commemorates an individual who has demonstrated the unique ability to lead others by example in the highest standard of their profession.

On April 17, 2009, Reno was awarded the Justice Award by the American Judicature Society. Eric Holder, Attorney General under the Obama Administration, presented Reno the award. Seth Andersen, Executive Vice President of AJS said the award recognizes "her commitment to improving our systems of justice and educating Americans about our great common enterprise – to ensure equality under the law." The award is the highest given by the AJS, and recognizes significant contributions toward improvements in the administration of justice within the United States.

In 2013, Reno voiced herself for the "Dark Knight Court" episode of The Simpsons.

Clinton "Indictment" Story Falls Apart, Sends Everyone Scrambling NOTE- electoral-vote.com and vote-master(who runs the site) allows the FULL article to be posted

When news broke earlier this week that an indictment of Hillary Clinton over Clinton Foundation business was "likely," we were skeptical. It turns out that the skepticism was well founded, because the story isn't true. As the story has unraveled, it's brought to light a lot of unsavory behavior, and none of it by Clinton.

To start, it has become clear that there is a vocal faction within the FBI that really dislikes Clinton and wants to see her candidacy derailed. Some of these individuals read a takedown of the Clinton Foundation entitled Clinton Cash, and that book was much of the impetus behind the Bureau's investigation into the Foundation. The problem is that the book was written by Peter Schweizer, a partisan "journalist" whose accuracy has been called into question many times in the past. Oh, and the book was also bankrolled by one Steve Bannon, then publisher of Breitbart News, now chair of the Trump campaign. Ultimately, the FBI's investigation uncovered very little that would be of interest to prosecutors, leaving the anti-Clinton faction within the Bureau very frustrated.

Then, of course, FBI Director James Comey went public with the news of the e-mails found on Anthony Weiner's computer. Apparently, this emboldened the agents investigating the Clinton Foundation, and so they ran to Fox News to tell their not-so-truthful tale. Bret Baier, the anchor who reported the news, acknowledged on Friday that it was a "mistake" and apologized for reporting the story. The pairing of one obvious case of FBI partisanship (the Clinton Foundation story) with another possible case of FBI partisanship (the new emails) is not a good look for the Bureau, particularly its director. Comey may well have been acting with integrity, but it's hardly certain, under the circumstances.

Meanwhile, this whole story has also put the Trump campaign in a bad light, corruption-wise. There's the Bannon connection, of course. And as we and others noted yesterday, it certainly seemed that Rudy Giuliani was aware of Comey's email announcement days before it actually came. On Friday morning, the former New York mayor confirmed on "Fox and Friends" that he did indeed know. His exact words:

Did I hear about it? Darn right I heard about it. I can't even repeat the language I heard from the former FBI agents.

Apparently, someone pointed out to "America's Mayor" that he was making it look an awful lot like the FBI and Trump campaign were in cahoots with one another, because later on Friday he went on Wolf Blitzer's program and insisted that he knew nothing about the e-mail announcement:

In my case, it's real simple: I've talked to no FBI agent, I've talked to no Justice Department official. I have no idea about who's leaking information.

That's a rather remarkable change of story in a mere three hours.

In any event, it's been a long time since the FBI has had a week this bad—assuming they've ever had one this bad. The editorialists have their poison pens out, and they're pulling no punches. For example, the Washington Post's editorial board writes:

We can only guess at the motives of the FBI agents behind this politicization of law enforcement, but their behavior is sickening. The campaign has been hard enough with the ugly chants of "lock her up." The last thing we need is to find the fingerprints of the nation's premier law enforcement agency all over an 11th-hour smear of Ms. Clinton.

We stand by our belief that James Comey's position has become all-but-untenable. In fact, he really should be rooting a Clinton victory, since the negative optics of terminating him might be the only thing that can save him. If Trump wins, on the other hand, there would be nothing stopping Barack Obama from calling the Director on
November 9 and saying, "To use a phrase popularized by our president-elect: You're fired."

Hillary to offer Michelle Obama a cabinet post

(thanks to an esteemed poster for leading me to this).

Hillary Clinton wants Michelle Obama in her Cabinet

Hillary Clinton told "Extra" on Monday night she would consider appointing first lady Michelle Obama to a Cabinet position if she wins the presidential election next week.

In an interview with Tracey Edmonds, the Democratic nominee said Obama would be a fitting member of her administration.

"She's made it pretty clear she wants to focus on important issues like girls' education around the world — she and I actually talked about it when we were together in Winston-Salem — and I want to be the best partner I can be for whenever she wants to do be involved in government again. I think she wants to take a break from it, but if she ever wants to do anything like that, I would be the number-one person," Clinton said.

Javert Comey It's Deja Vu all over again.

I wager Comey will have the courage to go out, read a 30 second statement, walk off stage

and then if Hillary accepts his resignation next year, goes into Trump-media and signs a multi-million dollar
contract to be a talking head for the next 8 years. He can bank on it.

After all, all the players are just doing auditions, for that big paycheck down the road.

It really is like a play.

Everyone comes back on stage and takes a bow, they all hold their hands up high.

Will Javert Comey go on Dancing with the stars like Tom De Lay did?

But nobody danced like Janet Reno. It will be good to see her again.

FBI speeds up its investigation into possible Clinton-related emails after criticism

The FBI accelerated its timeline for reviewing emails potentially linked to Hillary Clinton on Monday amid growing public pressure over the agency’s surprise announcement that it had found them in an unrelated case.

Investigators had planned to conduct the review over several weeks but, after a torrent of criticism over the weekend, began scrambling to examine the trove of emails, according to law enforcement officials. The FBI hoped to complete a preliminary assessment in the coming days, but agency officials have not decided how, or whether, they will disclose the results of it publicly, and officials also could not say whether the entire review would be completed by election day.

The uncertainty did not stop Donald Trump from charging into the vacuum with ominous speculation that a Clinton victory would spark national upheaval. Clinton repeated that she was confident the FBI had no case against her and that voters had already made up their mind on her use of a private server while she was secretary of State.

Hundreds of thousands of emails were discovered in an unrelated investigation into whether former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, violated federal laws while exchanging sexually explicit texts with a 15-year-old. Most of the emails were Weiner's, investigators say. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, belonged to Abedin, one official said.

I would rather thank Justice Ginsburg for following the words of the #1 greatest American ever-

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

for when Justice Ginsburg spoke up, before anyone else did, she so reminded me of the words of
Dr. King-

"He who passively accepts evil, is as much involved in it,
as he who helps to perpetrate it." (Dr. King, (c))

A heartfelt tip of the hat to Justice Ginsburg, whom without Hillary Clinton, would never have been nominated
to the US Supreme Court in the first place.

Imminent... 35 days. Just 5 weeks to President Clinton continues legacy of President Obama

I gotta salute Julien- he rickrolled the alt-right media, who was just so sure

that it was imminent.

How cool is that.

love the conspiracy theorists in comments in some articles Glenn Beck has come up with some new ones
and someone said he said it was "incoherent babbling" by Julien.
Pure Gold.

IMHO it is that Putin is shaking in his pants
knowing Putin/Russia was caught and I would venture a guess that 80% of America is not a fan of vile
dictator of the democracy in Russia who got rid of all his opposition.

( I bet Putin didn't expect Presidents Obama and Clinton to call Russia out publicly, let alone with the proof
coming in that Russia indeed (as everyone always knew) blew up that plane in the Ukraine and attempted to shift blame to others)

Here's to the greatest Democratic President always, President Obama-
(look at how vile Russian dictator Putin is backed against the wall, shivering)

Wanna bet Donald Trump and/or his people leaked the 1996 taxes to the NY Times, WHY???

because it answers NOTHING relevant to the important questions

like
Did Donald Trump give anything to charity in the following years-
Where does Donald Trump owe his money too? Is it Russia? Is that why he is so sympathetic to Putin?
And why is he personally taking a loss on business items?
Do people think I am naïve?

What did Donald Trump know and why won't he releases ALL his tax papers?
Like from the following years- SHOW US THE MONEY
RELEASE:
1997
1998
1999
2000
2001
2002
2003
2004
2005
2006
2007
2008
2009
2010
2011
2012
2013
2014
2015

Once again this proves Donald Trump does not have the temperament to be President
and just wants to change the issue, the same way Chris Christie hired his own lawyer in advance to clear him,
yet has mega problems rightaboutnow in Court.

RELEASE THE TAXES and then the questions can be looked at.
1996 is 100% meaningless to any conversation

(and shows again the NY Times is in cahoots with the Trump Organization.)

that is my opinion on this wonderful Oct. 3 day, just 5 weeks until Hillary wins and no matter what
Donald does, he still does not have the temperament to be President.

feel free to disagree.

Debate over. Donald Trump said he would support President Clinton and her victory Nov. 8

and not challenge it.

In his own words.

In front of 100 million people.
