Hillary Clinton on Nominating Obama to the Supreme Court: ‘Great Idea’

In my best Nikki FInke (c) Toldja So.

to sit side by side with Justice Sotomayor, Justice Ginsburg, Justice Kagen
This ones for LIFE.

DECORAH, Iowa – Hillary Clinton is sometimes asked what kind of people she would want to put on the Supreme Court – but not who. During a campaign event here in northeast Iowa on Tuesday, one attendee had a nominee in mind: President Obama. Would she name him?

Laughing with apparent delight as the audience cheered, Mrs. Clinton said: “Wow, what a great idea. Nobody has ever suggested that to me. Wow. I love that.”

She then repeated “wow” again, as if giving herself an extra second to think of a good answer, considering that she has been praising Mr. Obama’s agenda and leadership repeatedly on the campaign trail recently.

“He may have a few other things to do, but I tell you, that’s a great idea,” Mrs. Clinton said — not quite committing but certainly not dismissing the notion.

Here is a good spread sheet as to how the Democratic primary seasons works
It is all about the delegates, anyone needs 15% or more to get one vote delegate
Under 15% and zero vote delegate and zero soft pledge and it is a district by district not state allotment

It's not too late- Filing Dates for a candidate to enter specific states primary/caucus

the other day someone said the filing date was over for a new candidate (in either party) to enter.
I thought at the time that was a mistake, and indeed, after forgetting about it, I remembered and looked it up-
Plenty of time for a new entry to enter and win enough delegates to at the very least stop someone else

File this under reference (nice and colorful too)

btw, anyone watch Johnny Carson tonight? (on antenna tv, very topical monologue some 30 years later)
