Day 157 IMHO 125 Million people cume in 5 yrs won't have health care if sick on TrumpNoCare

Compared to this NO CARE giveaway taxbreak to the rich, Mr. Burns and Ebenezer Scrooge are the most beloved heartfelt person in the world

MEAN
(synonyms of mean)
greedy
selfish
mercenary
penny-pinching
mingy
miserly
parsimonious
penurious
rapacious
scrimpy
stingy
tight-fisted

That is my personal estimate. It could be double, it could be less

Because once someone gets sick, and doesn't have or has terrible insurance like in the old days,
but this time even worse they will lose their insurance because they won't be able to afford it,
many will already have been paying 5 times the rate because they are older under this new no-care (but not yet near retirement age)
and with the new caps, might have a condition like cancer, and without a job, having lost it because they
are sick, or if self employed

yada yada yada I could keep going on for 100 or more paragraphs on this

(note see separate thread shortly that has details of what is in the bill)

This is the one Trump called MEAN. Horrible doesn't even begin to say how terrible this is for the American people.
And 5 to 10 years after this would take place (and it won't start for a number of years to really show how bad it is, the number of American people will be considerably lower.

Remember the Spanish Flu? And that was back when there were so many less people to start off with.

YIKES. EGAD OMG.

The one and only person who could have saved us was Hillary Clinton.

But my figures are based on more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more
and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and
more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more
and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and
more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more
and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and
more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more
and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and
more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more
and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and
more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more
and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and
more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more
and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and
more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more
and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and
more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more
etc. like compounded interest growing and growing and growing as they years go on, the cume effect
as they call it.

For this thread C. Ebenezer Burns (c) Matt Groening

NOTE- THIS IS MY OPINION
THE NUMBER IS BASED ON MANY FACTORS AS DESCRIBED ABOVE
AND MAY BE HIGHER OR MAY BE LOWER.
There is no link here (except for the cartoon that is credited.)

Reminds me of the Titanic. Except this one is worse, as there are no lifejackets or life boats.

and just think it is possible that many future doctors or scientists who make new drugs to prevent
the new Spanish flu will not be around due to illness as kids, and their parents did not have the ability
to pay for their healthcare or they had a childhood cancer, and reached their once again there will be
a cap, before they even reached working age.

on this
Day 157
June 23, 2017
It's 7:56
(and I am watching My 3 Sons on Me-TV.
It dawns on me, that these old bxw first seasons My 3 Sons could be the prequel to the Brady Bunch.
only Alice is Bub on this. (Played by Fred Mertz himself (who symmetry alert- used to be the Mr. Burns/SCROOGE on the Lucy Show a few years back in the Horrible 50s.)

YIKES.

(with no hyperbole intended).

Day 157 The Path to 2020 is through the south & these 2 pix show it

Note that others have continually posted the bright red map which distorts, this map shows better
Look at the South-
the light blue signifies -only changes throughout the south and south west are Democratic gains
(the regular blue and red were incumbent states)
the light red up north were the republican gains

Leaders Perez and Ellison need to focus on the southern states in 2020 and more and more money needed.
And perhaps if the Democratic party can win the Governorships of both Texas and Florida, a VP candidate from one of those two states (after all a VP in Texas won the 1960 election and having Jeb Bush as Gov. of Florida
stole the 2000 election)

Perhaps Cecile Richards or either of the Castro's as VP
and then have home field advantage in Texas

and note- when you look at the map this way, not so red is it?
and both are the entire USA-

I appreciate 100% of everything Speaker Nancy Pelosi has done in her career

I stand with Nancy Pelosi

and Nancy Pelosi will not be bullied out by those afraid of her.

Those that are against her, are not Democratic Party supporters and have ulterior motives to push her out.

I stand strong with Nancy Pelosi, the highest ranking elected office women in American history
and in the list of immortal Americans (the one that has Dr. King at #1, then the Presidents and VPs,
Nancy Pelosi is among those next in line.

I have her back.

and wouldn't it be cool if due to resignations ala Agnew and Nixon, Trump & Pence, it was President Nancy Pelosi in 2019.

How cool would that be.

Me thinks that is what those that hate her are afraid of

In Nancy I trust.

(btw, as an aside- as Bernie has lost every single race he backed a candidate in,
(including some most people have no idea why he even backed that candidate (what did he owe him?)
should Bernie be called on to resign?
One would think it should be equal.
I don't recall anyone in office saying that should happen (just another double standard)

that's my opinion.

My salute to Nancy Pelosi June 21, 2017 709pm eastern while watching Jeopardy

If Hillary were so bad, then those that are against the Democratic party would want her 4 nomination

so it must mean Hillary is actually good and the people against her know in a rematch 3rd times the charm
like Nixon and Reagan.

Were Hillary the nominee, she has my vote
Eric Holder has my vote
Cory Booker has my vote

Maybe a ticket of Hillary/Michelle

They and 35 others have my vote. 720 combinations out of the 38 choices for President/VP

Day 155- Watergate Prosecutors had evidence that Richard Nixon's White House plotted violence

NBC News Exclusive: Memo Shows Watergate Prosecutors Had Evidence Nixon White House Plotted Violence

http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/nbc-news-exclusive-memo-shows-watergate-prosecutors-had-evidence-nixon-n773581

Watergate prosecutors had evidence that operatives for then-President Richard Nixon planned an assault on anti-war demonstrators in 1972, including potentially physically attacking Vietnam whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg, according to a never-before-published memo obtained by NBC News.

The document, an 18-page 1973 investigative memorandum from the Watergate Special Prosecution Force, sheds new light on how prosecutors were investigating attempts at domestic political violence by Nixon aides, an extremely serious charge.

NBC News is publishing the memo, and an accompanying memo about an interview prosecutors conducted with GOP operative Roger Stone, as part of special coverage for the 45th anniversary of the Watergate break-in.

A plot to physically attack Ellsberg is notable because the former Pentagon official has long alleged that Nixon operatives did more than steal his medical files, the most well-known effort to discredit him.

Day 155- This I 100% agree with- Bigtree's thread on DU-

https://www.democraticunderground.com/10029232224

note the usual Bernie folks argue against

The path to 2020 is through the south and to disassociate from Bernie. If Bernie couldn't get Teachout and
Feingold into office, it shows there is no victory following him at all.

The dialogue should be 24/7/365 on Donald Trump.

and Bernie's candidate in NJ lost bigly to soon to be Gov. Murphy (and those opposed to Murphy used
Bernie in their negative ads. How does that help the party?
(It doesn't).

The Democratic party had an amazing total last night and along with Leader Perez, should be planning
every day for 2018.

edit to change the Sen. to Gov. Murphy above. Sometimes type too fast.

Day 154- I was wrong..It went from 23.5 to 3.8. It was even closer than it was last night

So congratulations again to the Democratic party

I am going to go back and edit every post last night, because last night I thought it was 5% but in the
end it was only 3.8.

Amazingly closing in to victory in just six months, from the last election to this one

and in South Carolina, even closer.

Of course, the media doesn't tell you the figures and makes it seem like a Republican run-away
a run-run-run-run runaway as the legendary Del Shannon (who I just wish had a friend there when he
needed it most).

so now will painstakingly seek out all the 5% I wrote and edit it to 3.8
