You realize this means Putin lied to Trump.

The unthinkable has happened.

America needs to defeat Russia in the 2018 election

Since Trump is backing the Russians and the Republican Party is helping him, voters will need to take on the Russians themselves. Vote out every single Republican from every single office and Putin will get the idea. He can run and loot Russia with a bunch of fellow thieves, but without Republicans in power, he can't do that with the United States.

Senate and House Republicans letting Trump go easy on Russia

Dems shouldn't let Republicans have their cake and eat it too. They don't get credit for Russian sanctions if they let Trump get away with not imposing them. If they don't call him out on it, they are worse than he is.

Your doctor diagnoses you with "pinky-itis." Who do you trust?

Your doctor says your left pinky has pinky-itis (or whatever disease). It's a chronic disease that will require you to get pinky therapy every six months for the rest of your life. They will need to give your pinky local anasthesia. Then they will put it in a little vice and subject it to blue laser therapy while they manually inject pinky factor into it in various places.

You want to know what this "disease" is all about before you commit to the therapy, so after leaving "your" doctor's office, you hit the Internet. Who do you trust?

Follow the money': Senator probes Trump's $95 million Palm Beach mansion sale

A leading Senate Democrat has called on the Treasury Department to turn over banking and real estate records related to Donald Trump’s 2008 sale of a six-acre Palm Beach estate to a Russian billionaire – a real estate flip that yielded Trump $95 million after paying $41 million for the property just four years earlier.

“It is imperative that Congress follow the money and conduct a thorough investigation into any potential money laundering or other illicit financial dealings between the president, his associates, and Russia,” wrote Sen. Ron Wyden, an Oregon Democrat who sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee that is investigating 2016 election meddling.

The transaction between Trump and Russian oligarch Dmitry Rybolovlev is being reviewed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team, Wyden says in his letter, citing a report by Bloomberg News.

In a 2016 interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, Trump maintained that the real estate deal was one of the few deals he had ever done directly involving a Russian buyer.

Those must have been some great renovations Trump did.

Why doesn't Trump just say "Go get it boy!" at his rallies?

You know. He says it a few times, pretending to have something in his hand. Then he pretends to throw it. Excited Trumpies running in circles looking for it...

Trump kind of does that already. This would be better YouTube than the usual chanting and fainting in ecstasy.

What could possibly worry the markets about Republican competence?

1) Borrowing $1.5 trillion to hand out to corporations (debt to be repaid by people). How is it that Republicans cut taxes and are borrowing at the same time, by the way? Makes no sense. If you need to borrow money then you are in no position to cut taxes.

2) Trump. No one knows when he is going to provoke a Constitutional crisis, start a war, or be impeached. He's a very unstable bum. He wants a military parade just for show, for crying out loud.

3) Republicans are all over the map on deficit spending while, at the same time, creating a fiscal crisis. While it continues everyone is going to rightly think that Ryan and McConnell are in completely over their heads.

We need to get rationality and competence back at the table in Washington. I think people are starting to get tired of all this fun, different stuff. Normal is good. Normal is what we want. That means voting every single Republican out of every single office in every single election for a while.

What would Trump's Generalissimo dress uniform look like?

He needs something appropriate for the parade. I'm thinking giant epaulets, six stars on the shoulder. A big Deferment medal (with four oak leaf clusters).

Sunglasses. Gloves. Little cap.

Which is worse, drunk driving by a citizen or illegal immigration?

Who is Ok with their side lying?
