Where brand-new Teslas go to die? Why Are "Thousands" of Teslas Sitting In a Field in California?

Tesla finally met its Model 3 production run rate target, astute investors and analysts pointed out the use of the word "factory gated" in the company's press release: “Not only did we factory gate 5000 Model 3’s, but we also achieved the S & X production target for a combined 7000 vehicle week!” Musk wrote in an email to his staff that week.

It was a term that Tesla hadn’t used before.

Now, thanks to a couple of sleuths on Twitter, we may have just found out what the term means. Twitter Tesla sleuth @ISpyTSLA, with the help of others, has been trying to figure out exactly where all these vehicles are winding up. @ISpyTSLA found that it appears that "thousands" of vehicles are being stored "in a field" 500 E Louise Ave, Lathrop, CA 95330.

A federal judge tossed a lawsuit New York City brought against five major oil companies, demanding compensation for the alleged damages from man-made global warming.

“The Court recognizes that the City, and many other governmental entities around the United States and in other nations, will be forced to grapple with the harmful impacts of climate change in the coming decades,” U.S. District Judge John Keenan ruled on Thursday.

“However, the immense and complicated problem of global warming requires a comprehensive solution that weighs the global benefits of fossil fuel use with the gravity of the impending harms,” Keenan ruled.

“To litigate such an action for injuries from foreign greenhouse gas emissions in federal court would severely infringe upon the foreign-policy decisions that are squarely within the purview of the political branches of the U.S. Government,” Keenan wrote for the court.

San Franciscos mayor wont crack down on people using city as an outdoor toilet

Imagine if the city offered a $100 gift card to Crate and Barrel for every ziplock bag filled with human waste dropped off at City Hall and $200 for every Hefty bag?

Primaries bring good news for Trump and Republicans, bad news for divided Democrats

Primaries Tuesday showed the power of President Trump’s endorsements continued to help Republican candidates triumph, while House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., lost a key lieutenant – Rep. Joe Crowley – in a New York City race that suggests internal divisions among Democrats are more serious than people might think.

Democratic divisions between the leftist insurgents who backed Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont in his unsuccessful campaign against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016 make it less likely that a big, blue wave is coming that will sweep Democrats to majority control in the House and Senate.

The insurgents have the potential to change the Democratic Party over the long term into something more in line with left-leaning parties in Europe, rather than continuing to remain within the uniquely American spectrum where both parties agree to one degree or another that market forces should continue to play a role in setting economic policy.

President Trump’s job approval numbers are holding steady somewhere in the mid-40s. The percentage of voters who feel the country is on the right track is now up near 40 percent – double where it was at the beginning of the year.

Bernie's Revenge cuts like a knife (or machete) through the heart of the Democratic Party...

It seems that, after yesterday's pustulant explosion of trash threads combining in various ways...

... the words "Putin" and"Trump" and "treason," the febrile excitement of our Democratic contingent has diminished to the more customary grumbles of grumpiness. Perhaps they all managed benefical-to-their-health bowel movements and rid themselves of the excessive bile and assorted toxins affecting their outlooks on life...

Democrats Are Dumping Moderates

But promoting socialism, sky-high taxes, and open borders is probably not going to help them trounce the GOP in November.

The activist base of the Democratic party is lurching left fast enough that everyone should pay attention. Activists matter because their turnout in low-turnout primaries and caucuses almost propelled leftist Bernie Sanders to victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016. Last month, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez unseated New York congressman Joe Crowley, the No. 4 ranking House Democrat in a low-turnout primary. She benefited from organizing support from the Democratic Socialists of America. Leftists have also upset establishment Democrats in statewide primaries for governor in Colorado and Maryland.

The power of left-wing activists showed up in California this past Saturday, as 65 percent of the state Democratic party’s 330-member executive committee voted to spurn moderate Democratic senator Dianne Feinstein. Instead, they endorsed her left-wing opponent, Kevin de León, a state senator. De Leon won a stunning 65 percent of party activists, and Feinstein got just 7 percent.

The irony of being opposed by her own party must weigh on Feinstein. Now 85, she began her career in politics in 1969 by winning a seat on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. She went on to calm the city as mayor after her predecessor George Moscone was assassinated. She won her Senate seat in 1992 and is known for having shepherded into law the first federal ban on so-called assault weapons.

But Feinstein didn’t keep up with the changes in California. Her opponent de León apparently has: He’s running on abolishing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency, promoting national health insurance, and impeaching President Trump.

What's the saying? "As goes california so goes the nation." But that doesn't really apply to the rest of the nation anymore, does it? California went big for Hillary, giving her the "popular win" vote, but Trump won the states' electoral votes to take the presidency. However I suspect we'll see that saying apply to the Democratic Party throughout the nation as the Leftmost overcomes the lesser Left and drives that party down and down into obscurity for quite some time to come.

The Democratic Party is "lurching Left" and the newly-cleansed-of-deadwood Republican Party is ready to take this nation into the beneficial future...

New Study Reveals Humanity Just One Coexist Bumper Sticker Away From World Peace

A new study by the Think Tank for Universal Harmony revealed Friday that only one more “Coexist” bumper sticker is needed to accomplish world peace.

According to the study, should one more person put a “Coexist” bumper sticker on their Prius or other hybrid car, peace and harmony will immediately break out all across the world. The report also shows that as the sale of the popular bumper sticker has increased over the past ten years, violence around the world has decreased. Harriot Peters, lead researcher for TTUH, says the correlation between the two is undeniable.

“It’s well-documented that bumper stickers are highly effective at changing people’s minds,” Peters pointed out. “From religious conversions to political about-faces, drivers and passengers alike have attested to the responsibility of bumper stickers in revolutionizing their thinking. These ‘Coexist’ stickers are no exception. They’re doing the work real conversations and action can’t.”

The study cites over 1,000 shocking testimonies of gang members, drug dealers, members of ISIS, and other criminals whose lives were changed after simply spotting the bumper sticker on an environmentally friendly car driving by.

“I was at a stoplight while making a delivery, and I saw the sticker on the car in front of me. I immediately made a U-turn—both literally and figuratively,” a former MS-13 member said. “I exchanged a life of drug dealing and violence for tolerance and love. I now volunteer at a food bank. I even have an appointment to remove my face tattoos next week.”

With world peace so near, TTUH will next direct their attention to the connection between “God Is Real!” billboards and the recent upsurge in church attendance in America.
