Looking to buy a fridge, looking for suggestions

Here's the deal. We currently have a Samsung french door with the additional middle drawer. It's not bad but it's only 6 years old, has been serviced twice and now is starting to make odd noises. I think it may be time to replace it. I'm having some trouble finding something new that fits our criteria. Maybe I'm searching wrong.

Here's the requirements:

It can't be any wider than 36 inches. There is only one place a fridge will fit and that's all the room there is. As it is I'm a half inch into the opening and steps into our living room.

It MUST be at least 28 cubic feet. That's what we have now and it's packed. Can't go any smaller.

Stainless is a must. Everything else is and I'm not replacing everything.

Due to the layout of the kitchen french door with a center drawer is critical. I had a side by side when I moved in and I hated it. You can't fit anything large in the freezer. A single door won't work because it would hit the center island.

This is more of a want than a need. If it has to have an icemaker, I'l really prefer something with metal, rather than plastic internal parts. This damn Samsung is on it's third now due to the nylon parts breaking.

Here's the kicker: NO WIFI. Network security is notoriously crappy on smart appliances. I don't need some asshole using my appliances to serve up child porn or zero day warez or something similar. Besides I not not need and do not want to have to use a damn phone to operate my home.

Anybody know of anything that fits the bill?

They're not criminals, they're good people in search of a better life....

LOS ANGELES – An investigation by federal and local authorities has resulted in a federal racketeering case that charges 22 people linked to the MS-13 transnational gang, most of whom allegedly participated in a series of murders, including several slayings in which victims were hacked to death with machetes in the Angeles National Forest.

A 12-count indictment unsealed Monday afternoon alleges that members and associates of the gang murdered seven people over the last two years. The indictment charges gang leaders who allegedly authorized and coordinated the murders. Also charged are gang members who allegedly murdered and attempted to murder rival gang members, those who were perceived to be cooperating with law enforcement, and, in one instance, a homeless man who was temporarily living in a park controlled by the gang.

The indictment focuses on a particularly violent subset of the gang known as the Fulton clique, which operates in the San Fernando Valley and has recently seen an influx of young immigrants from Central America. Under the influence of these young gangsters, younger associates who wanted to become members of MS-13 were “required to kill an MS-13 rival or someone perceived to be adverse to MS-13 to be initiated into MS-13,” according to the indictment.

In one murder detailed in the indictment, several MS-13 members allegedly targeted a rival gang member who was believed to have defaced MS-13 graffiti. On March 6, 2017, according to the indictment, the rival gang member was abducted, choked, and driven to a remote location in the Angeles National Forest, where six people attacked him with a machete. The victim was dismembered, and his body parts were thrown into a canyon after one of the defendants allegedly cut the heart out of the victim’s body.

Week 3 of the incoming pup

Most likely we will be leaving a month from today to make the 650 mile trek to pick up our bundle of fuzz. He's starting to really develop. Just too damn cute.

A bit of truth comes out

It has never been about the environment. It's about restricting open, free, individual travel. People are easier to control when they are confined.

"Damaging levels of pollution will still be released into the atmosphere even if electric cars become widespread, a Government report has warned.

Brake, tyre and road surface wear all contribute to dangerous emissions - regardless of the type of vehicle used.

Plastic debris created from this wear and tear also contributes as much as 28 per cent of the total microplastics added to the ocean worldwide.

The Air Quality Expert Group's Non-Exhaust Emissions from Road Traffic report said that the best way to reduce emissions is to lower the overall volume of traffic.

Other green ideas detailed in the report include lowering the motorway speed limits and creating emissions limits for brake pads and tyres."
