Cascade Mall shooter illegally voted in at least 3 elections

http://www.king5.com/news/local/investigators-may-probe-cascade-mall-suspects-citizenship-status-voting-record/327490798

The Cascade Mall shooting suspect, Arcan Cetin, may face an additional investigation related to his voting record and citizenship status.

Federal sources confirm to KING 5 that Cetin was not a U.S. citizen, meaning legally he cannot vote. However, state records show Cetin registered to vote in 2014 and participated in three election cycles, including the May presidential primary.

Cetin, who immigrated to the United States from Turkey as a child, is considered a permanent resident or green card holder. While a permanent resident can apply for U.S. citizenship after a certain period of time, sources tell KING his status had not changed from green card holder to U.S. citizen.

While voters must attest to citizenship upon registering online or registering to vote at the Department of Licensing Office, Washington state doesn't require proof of citizenship. Therefore elections officials say the state's elections system operates, more or less, under an honor system.

Just an informal poll about tonight

I'm just curious how people are feeling about tonight, regardless of who you support.

%$&!!*$! Well!

It seems as if the pressure tank for my well(s) has either failed or has silted up over the weekend, which is kind of weird since the tank is only about 6 or 7 years old. I know this because I am getting Rapid Cycle Errors on both pumps. At most we get about 5 gallons of water before I have to reset the system, so over the weekend we've been bathing out of a pot and eating from paper plates. I am very concerned one of them is failing. When I turn it on the water smells strongly of sulphur. My wife jokes it is like showering in Hell. It's original to the house, so about 60 or so years old and it's rather shallow, at 30 or 40 feet at most. The newer back well is closer to 350 feet. Luckily the front pump only has a half gallon a minute capacity, whereas the rear is 9.6 GPM. The loss of that half gallon won't be too bad. Still it's frustrating. Getting up in the middle of the night only to find you can't flush the toilet or get a glass of water is a PITA.

Wanna be President? I've got a surefire way to get elected.

Simply legally change your name to "None Of The Above".

You'll win in a landslide.

Thief breaks into YMCA only to get away with a big pile of fake cash

It’s safe to assume this is not how one brazen thief thought his master plan would turn out. A man broke into a YMCA in Indio, California to steal cash from a register, only he would up getting away with nothing but a pile of phony money.

Both the cash and the register were fake.

According to KESQ-TV, security camera footage shows the man breaking into the YMCA Child Development Center through a ceiling duct. He is then seen escaping with the “cash” out the door.

How's that "vetting" process going?

https://www.yahoo.com/news/more-800-immigrants-mistakenly-granted-citizenship-130452164--politics.html

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. government has mistakenly granted citizenship to at least 858 immigrants who had pending deportation orders from countries of concern to national security or with high rates of immigration fraud, according to an internal Homeland Security audit released Monday.

The Homeland Security Department's inspector general found that the immigrants used different names or birthdates to apply for citizenship with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and such discrepancies weren't caught because their fingerprints were missing from government databases.

The report does not identify any of the immigrants by name, but Inspector General John Roth's auditors said they were all from "special interest countries" — those that present a national security concern for the United States — or neighboring countries with high rates of immigration fraud. The report did not identify those countries.

In an emailed statement, the Department of Homeland Security said the findings reflect what has long been a problem for immigration officials — old paper-based records containing fingerprint information that can't be searched electronically. DHS says immigration officials are in the process of uploading these files and that officials will review "every file" identified as a case of possible fraud.

DHS officials identified an additional 953 people who had been naturalized despite outstanding deportation orders, though auditors couldn't determine if those immigrants had digital fingerprints on file or not.
