Alien life could be closer to us than previously thought. Scientists have just discovered the nearest habitable planet to Earth.

The new world is one of three surrounding a red dwarf star called Wolf 1061, which is just 14 light years away. It was detected by scientists at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia.

All three planets have the potential to be solid and rocky, but only Wolf 1061c exists within the "Goldilocks zone" -- a distance from the star (much smaller and cooler than our sun) that is not too hot and not too cold for liquid water.

"This rare discovery is incredibly exciting," UNSW's Duncan Wright, who led the study, told CNN.

"Other planets found that are habitable are not nearly this close to Earth. Because of the close proximity of this planet to us, there is good opportunity to find out more about it."

NASA has confirmed more than 1,870 exoplanets -- worlds outside our solar system. But this discovery is particularly important because Wolf 1061c is both habitable and close to our solar system.

IN the United States today, thousands of children under 18 have recently taken marital vows — mostly girls married to adult men, often with approval from local judges. In at least one case, a 10-year-old boy was legally married.

Unfortunately, the available records do not include any identifying details about marriages beyond the ages of the participants. Nevertheless, the data show that 3,499 children were married in New Jersey between 1995 and 2012. Most were age 16 or 17 and married with parental consent, but 178 were between ages 10 and 15, meaning a judge approved their marriages.

Unchained at Last also requested health department data on the ages of people recently married in New York State, where 16- and 17-year-olds may wed with “parental consent” and 14- and 15-year-olds may wed with judicial approval. The data show that 3,853 children were married between 2000 and 2010. =snip=

That's over 7300 kids in only two states in the last few years. This could be a case of marriage fraud to get citizenship or a maybe it's common with a ethnic or religious group in these two states. The NY Times stayed away from that point.

At a Christmas party last weekend I was lucky to have a drunk know it all college student say to me that America Christian terrorist attacks are just as bad as any Muslims terrorist attacks in the US. I asked her to give me a list of some Christian terrorist attacks over the last 30 years. She said hundreds have been killed at abortion clinics. I said I think the number sounds high unless your also talking about the babies......

After she went off on me about her reproductive rights we got back on the topic of Christian terrorist attacks in the US. I found this web site that is not a right wing site that list the top 10 Christian or far right wing terrorist attacks in the US.

Far right wing terrorist attacks killed. 176 people and 168 of that was in the Oklahoma City bombing.

BLM backers are saying that both H and Mr. Sanders are not giving BLM the respect they deserve. BLM in a huge negative when in comes to middle income white women. Middle income white women are a must for the Democrats to win the White House and BLM is not going away.

Fear of lawlessness is a plus for the GOP and Trump is very good selling it.

So what can the Democrats do keep both groups happy?

This shooting just does not fall into the template of a workplace shooting or a terrorist attack. I'm now reading that the shooters were wearing go-pro cameras and possibly went home after the shooting to up load the video of the attack to a web site..................... Terrorist attack

Over 300 people were in the building so they could have killed many more. They focused on his co-workers at the holiday party............................... Workplace violence.

But........
They had pipe bombs already made and went home to dress and it look's like they trained for this................. Terrorist attack.
