The 2016 Election and the Demise of Journalistic Standards.

With that decision the New York Times also changed the basic news story formula. To the age-old elements of who, what, when, where, and why, he added the reporter’s opinion. Now the floodgates were open, and virtually every so-called news article reflected a clear bias against Trump. Stories, photos, headlines, placement in the paper—all the tools that writers and editors have—were summoned to the battle. The goal was to pick the next president.

A little long read but good.

What are the liberals thinking?

President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner pushed hard for President Trump to endorse and campaign for Luther Strange because Kushner did not like Roy Moore's views on homosexuality. Jared Kushner is the only liberal voice near the President and liberals on DU and the press are working overtime to get Kushner sacked.

A blue state tax.

http://nypost.com/2017/09/27/trump-tax-plan-eliminates-big-perk-for-high-tax-states/

WASHINGTON — President Trump will release a sweeping plan Wednesday to cut taxes and simplify the tax code that will eliminate the deduction for state and local taxes — a move that Gov. Andrew Cuomo has warned would be a “death blow” for New York.

Despite fierce opposition from high-tax states when the idea was first floated, the Trump administration is pushing ahead with the repeal, which would remove state and local income and property taxes as deductions on federal returns.

The perk — first enacted with the income tax in 1913 — is most heavily used in coastal, bluer states that include New York, California, New Jersey and Connecticut.

I live in the very high tax state of California. This will be a big hit to me but I do see where it's a tax brake that other states don't get. Blue states love taxes on the rich so this should pass with little crying from them.

The President changed the protest.

I asked ten people today in my office if they knew what the taking a knee at the national anthem was all about. Seven of the ten said it was a anti President Trump protest. Two said it was a anti American protest and the last person said it was an anti police/criminal justice protest. Most are not a football fans.

Many took a knee to show support for the team last weekend but when it comes back to anti police/criminal justice protest will it look the same?

Men having sex with men.

Sex diseases in US surge to record high.

Washington (AFP) - Sexually transmitted diseases surged to a record high in the United States last year, with more than two million cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis nationwide, officials said Tuesday.

Gonorrhea also increased among men and women last year, but the steepest rise was among men (22 percent), said the report.

Nationwide, gonorrhea cases reached 470,000, with a large share of new gonorrhea cases among men who have sex with men.

These trends are "particularly alarming" because of the growing threat of gonorrhea becoming resistant to the last recommended treatment, according to the CDC report.

Syphilis cases numbered 28,000, a rate that increased nearly 18 percent from 2015 to 2016.

Most cases of syphilis occur among men -- mainly gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men.

Every year this comes out. STD's are going up and man having sex with men is the center of it all.

Happy Sunday.

It all starts when you surrender to Him.

Would you trade?

Would you allow dreamers with no criminal history to become US citizens if the Wall on the southern border was okayed with a fast track?

DU has the same question. Looks like 49 no's and 1 maybe out of 50.
