This has the potential to be abused.

CNN Stands by anchor

Good to know that CNN thinks verbal threats are an appropriate response to being heckled. I am sure that CNN will uphold this standard when a conservative replies to heckling with a similar verbal threat.

Did Cuomo condemn Maxine Waters?

It seems he was treated and could not handle being treated in the manner that Waters wants conservatives treated while in public.

Is the name Barry now synonymous with "all hype, no substance"

First was the hype of hope from Obama and now the storm that was supposed to destroy New Orleans.

A trend is being established.

A small victory for Trump...from the 9th circuit

I did not see this posted.

The 9th Circuit gave Trump a small victory in his fight against Sanctuary Cities.

New tax law results for my household

This has been a topic since the tax law was passed.

I have been looking forward to filing my taxes so I could provide some my personal experience under the new tax laws.

A little background info. My household is solidly middle class. I work full time and my wife works part time. We have 2 children in college and 1 in high school. We live in CT which means we could have pontentialy been hit by the 10k SALT cap. As it turns out we did not hit the 10k SALT cap so that did not come into effect. Also, our itemized deductions did not exceed the 24k standard deduction.

I have already mentioned that the new withholding tables resulted in 107 per month less being witheld from my paycheck. Last year my effective federal tax rate was 7.54%. Our income this year was 8% higher than last year. My effective tax rate this year was 6.03.

So overall I am very happy with the results Trump's tax law.
