Joseph McInnis III, 21, and 22-year-old Tyree McCoy robbed a Maryland bar filled with dozens of off-duty officers there for a cop retirement party, WBAL-TV reported.

The armed crooks entered the take-out portion of Monaghan’s Pub in Woodlawn on Tuesday night and held up an employee at gunpoint before running off with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said, according to the news outlet.

“At that time, the person who had been behind the counter knew that there was a retirement party for a police officer happening, so they went into the other portion and alerted the officers to the fact that they had just been involved in an armed robbery,” Baltimore County Police Officer Jennifer Peach said.

Off-duty officers at the shindig quickly ran out and took the men into custody.

Trump Nixes Obama-Era Proposal Requiring Business to Report Pay by Gender and Race

The White House announced Tuesday it will end another Obama-era policy--this time, canceling a plan that would require businesses to collect data on how they pay employees of different races, genders, and ethnic groups.

The Trump administration said the data-collection proposal from 2016 would be a burden to businesses and the information wouldn't provide meaningful insight into pay discrimination. The rule would have required companies to report the data for the first time next spring. Advocates for the policy defended it, adding that efforts to measure pay discrimination have been difficult in the past because information often comes from anecdotes.

...

The original proposal instructed the EEOC to begin collecting pay data from private employers with 100 or more workers and federal contractors with 50 or more staffers. The policy broadened the range of information businesses were required to report on a form called the EEO-1, which has been used for decades to collect data on gender and race in the American workforce.

Unbelievable.

'Kill all white people: Suspect in killings of five white men made threat in 2014

The 22-year-old man suspected of shooting five middle-aged white men since last year — including four on south Kansas City walking trails — threatened in 2014 to shoot up a school and “kill all white people,” according to court records.

Fredrick Demond Scott, who was charged Tuesday in two killings and named as a suspect in three more, made those statements in January 2014 at Center Alternative School, as documented in a municipal citation for harassment.
...
All five were white men between ages 54 and 67. All five were fatally shot, most from behind, in surprise attacks as they walked dogs, visited parks and, in one case, walked down a city street.
.....
Police said they did not know if the shootings were racially motivated.

5 this week so far. 230 for the year in Baltimore. Just Baltimore. No outrage, no marches, no pussy hats, no thrown urine-filled bottles.

It only took a day for the March To DC to lose nearly all of the marchers

You still got Discussionist, DUmmy, and Twitter to express your outrage Lefty.
-------------------

The March to DC from Charlottesville, Va., started with nearly 200 marchers Monday, but by Tuesday morning there were only 35 marchers.

“Over 200 people came together today to take a stand against bigotry and hate,” march organizers said on Twitter. “We’re marching from #Cville2DC. Join us: cville2dc.us.”

The overnight rains were enough to keep all but “about 35” from marching Monday morning, the day after the pep talk when police escorted the group from Emancipation Park downtown Sunday.

“We have started the day!” the group tweeted shortly after 10:00am. “We have about 35 folks marching against white supremacy.”

JACKSON, Miss. —
Jackson police have made two arrests in connection with the shooting death of Chelsie Lynn Kirschten.

Kirschten, 23, was shot and killed Aug. 17 as she sat in her car waiting on a red light at Fortification and State streets, according to police.

The gunman said nothing when he walked up to the driver’s side closed window of Kirschten’s white Pontiac G6 and shot her in the back, police said.

A passenger in Kirschten’s car told police that the gunman, who was wearing dark clothing, didn’t take anything after the shooting and walked away, investigators said.

Dem Rep Confuses Sandy Hook And Hurricane Sandy [VIDEO]

http://dailycaller.com/2017/08/29/dem-rep-confuses-sandy-hook-and-hurricane-sandy-video/

Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee awkwardly confused “Sandy Hook” with “Hurricane Sandy” during a Tuesday interview on CNN.

Jackson Lee repeatedly assured the hosts that she had supported funding for Sandy Hook, the deadly school shooting, though she clearly meant that she supported funding for Hurricane Sandy. Both events occurred in 2012, but share literally nothing else in common beside having “Sandy” in their names.

“Let me be clear,” Jackson Lee said before being very unclear. “I voted on many votes for Sandy Hook funding.”

Jackson Lee continued to use “Sandy Hook” without any corrections from hosts Alisyn Camerota and Chris Cuomo.
