If gender is a matter of choice, then womens rights are dead.

Because anyone can choose to be a woman, and in doing so, be part of the protected class.

Congrats democrats.

Brain study looks at why people's political beliefs are so hard to change

The cognitive neuroscientist started studying how the brain reacts when one’s political beliefs are challenged a few years ago, not realizing how America’s political climate would turn out.

“I don’t think we could have predicted how much these issues would be on everybody’s minds when we finished the study several years later.” Kaplan told CBS Los Angeles.

Kaplan and colleagues at USC’s Brain and Creativity Institute performed functional MRI scans of the brains of 40 participants with strong liberal political views, watching their brain activity as his team presented counter-arguments and tried to sway their political positions.

The MRIs showed that the parts of the brain that were triggered control deep, emotional thoughts about personal identity.

Their brains went into defense mode, shutting down any willingness to accept counter arguments, Kaplan added.

Science.

Keeping promises - good luck competing with that.

Do identification laws suppress minority gun buying? Yes. We did the research.

Democrats are trying to keep gun ownership white, and they have expressed publicly and loudly, their intention to make it a federal issue, applied universally.

Own it, voter ID opponents.

Top State Obama Department Official Admitted Benghazi Had Nothing to Do With Protests

FEBRUARY 14, 2017

ranscript from September 12, 2012, Congressional Staff Call: Question from Congressional Staffer: ‘Was this attack under the cover of a protest?’

Answer from Under Secretary Patrick Kennedy: ‘No, this was a direct breaching attack.’

(Washington DC)—Judicial Watch today released 54 pages of new State Department documents, including a transcript of a September 12 2012, telephone conference call with congressional staffers in which then-Under Secretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy admitted that the deadly terrorist assault on the Benghazi Consulate was not “under cover of protest,” but was, in fact, “a direct breaching attack.”

The documents were produced in response to a January 29, 2016, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit that was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia after the State Department failed to respond to an August 27, 2015, FOIA request (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:16-cv-00153)). The recently settled lawsuit sought:

All records of security waivers issued for the Special Mission compound in Benghazi, Libya under the Secure Embassy Construction and Counterterrorism Act (SECCA);
All records related to the Special Mission compound in Benghazi, Libya being “excepted from office facility standards and accountability” under SECCA as
The transcript was contained in an email from Julie K. Bulgrin, the State Department Bureau of Legislative Affairs director for Global and Functional Affairs:

Rob Carter – was this an attack under the cover of a protest?
No, this was a direct breaching attack.
Do we have any ideas of who launched? Leads?
Some claims from someone who has never made threat before, but everyone is looking at this closely.
Do we believe coordinated w/Cairo?
Attack in Cairo was a demonstration. There were no weapons shown or used. A few cans of spray paint.

Its all there at the link.

Your former president and your former presidential candidate lied to the American people, lefty, about matters far more serious that event attendance.

Show some consistency now, wont you?

Controversy simmers over signs in Arlington, Va. high school

ARLINGTON, Va. - A Northern Virginia high school is facing criticism after several politically-suggestive signs were posted on the walls inside of the building.

About two dozen or so students have joined together to express concern over the signs. They say more and more keep popping up around the school and are being posted by a group of teachers.

The concerned students and their parents are saying that the signs are politically biased, which they contend violates school policy and shows a double standard. They also believe if these were conservative beliefs on the wall it wouldn’t be allowed in the first place.

Yorktown senior John Piper was a guest on Tucker Carlson’s prime time show on Fox News last night, discussing why the seemingly innocuous sign was actually “political propaganda.”

Piper says he and his parents talked to to school administrators, the Arlington School Board and local radio station WMAL about why the signs are “obviously” political, especially given the current political climate. But after being told the signs would be coming down, Piper says administrators “changed their minds” and the signs remained.

This is not the only sign controversy brewing at Yorktown. A Black Lives Matter banner at the school was removed late last week, according to a tipster. High school principals, we’re told, have been meeting “to set policy for putting signs up in the future.”

Schools are NOT the place for teachers to be pushing political views.

Chicago police clear officers of racial profiling in stop of U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush

Chicago police have cleared two officers of wrongdoing over allegations leveled by U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush that he had been racially profiled during a traffic stop last summer on the South Side, a police spokesman said Thursday.

The officers stopped Rush, who is black, in his Lexus RX after learning from a police dispatcher that its license plate was registered to a different vehicle, according to Guglielmi.

Rush filed a complaint against the officers the same day, alleging he had been pulled over without legal justification because of the color of his skin. The female officer is Hispanic, and her partner is white.

Rush was let go without a ticket. About an hour later, he filed a complaint about the alleged racial profiling.

I hope he didn't hurt anyone rushing to fill out the complaint.

Webb: Democratic Party has moved 'very far to the left'

BY REBECCA SAVRANSKY - 02/12/17 10:37 AM EST

Former Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.) on Sunday said the Democratic Party has moved "very far to the left" over the past five or six years.

In an interview on NBC's "Meet The Press," Webb said the Democrats are looking at 2018 and they "don't have a message."

"When you can't have a Jefferson-Jackson dinner, which was a primary celebratory event of the Democratic Party for years, because Jefferson and Jackson were slaveholders," Webb, a candidate in the 2016 Democratic primary race, said.

Webb said the Democratic Party's message has "been shaped toward identity politics"
"And they've lost the key part of their base," he said.

"I'm comfortable for my vote and my vote is private to me. But at the same time, I will say that I did not endorse Hillary Clinton," Webb said.

Trying to figure out how to talk to voters, while courting a DNC chair that wants to shut white people up, while ignoring the advice of people who know.

The cries to 'burn the heretic' have already gone out on twitter.
