Testimony Transcript Shows William Taylor Never Talked To Trump, Wasnt Even On July 25 Phone Call

Uh, oh.

"A key Democratic witness against Trump admitted in congressional testimony last month that he was not part of the July 25 phone call between the U.S. and Ukrainian presidents, that he didn’t see a transcript or readout of it until late September when it was declassified and released, and that he has never even spoken to President Donald Trump.

William Taylor, the charge d’affairs of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, told lawmakers in secret testimony two weeks ago that his opinions about an alleged quid pro quo demanded by Trump were formed largely from conversations with anti-Trump staffers within the diplomatic bureaucracy.

“You’ve never spoken to Mr. Giuliani?” Taylor was asked.

“No, no,” he replied.

“Has anyone ever asked you to speak to Mr. Giuliani?”

“No,” Taylor said.

“And if I may, have you spoken to the president of the United States?” Taylor was asked.

“I have not,” he said.

“You had no communications with the president of the United States?”

“Correct,” Taylor said."

Another narrative goes down in flames.

Florida Senate permanently removes Scott Israel as Broward sheriff .

This is good news. This snickerdoodle got kids killed with his stupid policies; then went on the CNN Townhall and lied about what happened.

"After hours of debate filled with gripping, emotional details about the Marjory Stoneman Douglas massacre and soaring rhetoric about constitutional rights and the weighty responsibilities of elected officials, the Florida Senate voted Wednesday to permanently remove suspended Broward Sheriff Scott Israel.

The 25-15 vote was mostly along party lines with Republicans, who are a majority in the Senate and loyal to the Republican governor, generally supporting removal while most Democrats voted to reinstate the Democratic sheriff. All five Broward senators voted for reinstatement, despite the wishes of Parkland parents.

Israel, whose leadership was seen as so flawed by the governor and family members of Parkland victims that it contributed to some of the 17 deaths and 17 injuries, has been out off office since Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended him in January.

“I hope the outcome provides some measure of relief to the Parkland families that have been doggedly pursuing accountability,” DeSantis said in a statement after the vote. DeSantis cited incompetence and neglect of duty in connection with the 2018 Parkland massacre and the 2017 Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport shooting."

On Mexican State Collapse: a Guest Post by El Anti-Pozolero

This is interesting; and very troubling.

"You may have read the news just a few days back: the Mexican military captured not one but two of El Chapo’s sons in the heart of Culiacán, the Sinaloan capital. One son freed himself—which is to say his entourage and retainers at hand overpowered and killed the soldiers at hand—and then, in a decisive riposte, seized the entire city center of Culiacán to compel the liberation of his brother.

The forces that emerged were in the literal sense awesome and awful. Heavy weaponry that would be familiar on any Iraqi, Syrian, or Yemeni battlefield was brought to bear. More and worse: custom-built armored vehicles, designed and built to make a Sahel-warfare technical look like an amateur’s weekend kit job, were rolled out for their combat debut. Most critically, all this hardware was manned by men with qualities the Mexican Army largely lacks: training, tactical proficiency, and motivation.

Then the coup de grace: as the Chapo sons’ forces engaged in direct combat with their own national military, kill squads went into action across Culiacán, slaughtering the families of soldiers engaged in the streets.

Cowed and overmatched—most crucially in the moral arena—the hapless band of soldiers still holding the second son finally received word from Mexico City, direct from President AMLO himself: surrender. Surrender and release the prisoner. "

'Why Don't You Practice What You Preach?': Piers Morgan Grills Climate Activist's Hypocritical Lifestyle

What kind of alternative hell are we living in where Piers freaking Morgan is the voice of sanity?

"British T.V. host Piers Morgan called out a climate activist about her lifestyle choices, which are not helpful for the planet, as protesters are staging demonstrations across the United Kingdom.
The ongoing protests has been organized by Extinction Rebellion, who want the United Kingdom's Parliament to take action on climate change. Demonstrations include clogging roads and blocking bridges with their bodies and other big objects.
Hundreds of protesters have been arrested for causing traffic disruptions, but organizers say they will continue to come out in force for the next two weeks.
Morgan asked Extinction Rebellion’s co-leader Skeena Rathor how she arrived to their studio. Rathor said a car sent by the station had picked her up.

When Morgan then asked her if she had a T.V. at her home and if her children use computers, Rathor said she did not think it was relevant to "the planet emergency."
