Even Without Muellers Report, Congress Had All the Facts It Needed

No matter what Attorney General William Barr reveals—or doesn’t—about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report, everything Congress needed to know about Donald Trump and Russia was already clear.

But by the second week of October, WikiLeaks was profoundly engaging the U.S. voting public. Using the Google Trends tool, the website Five Thirty Eight tracked how public interest in the hacked emails surged. Not coincidentally, it seems, Clinton’s poll lead over Trump peaked on October 17, and steadily shrank thereafter. FBI Director James Comey’s October 28 letter reopening the Clinton email case delivered the final blow to the reeling Clinton campaign.
This timeline is one thing to keep in mind as details emerge from the Mueller report.

Mueller served his country by advancing the inquiry into Trump-Russia at a time when Trump’s enablers in Congress sought to cover up for the president. Since the midterm elections, Congress has regained its independence and can recover its integrity. Mueller’s full report will surely inform and enlighten Americans about many details of what exactly happened in 2016. But the lack of further indictments by Mueller underscores that the job of protecting the country against the Russia-compromised Trump presidency belongs to Congress. It always did.

President Trump's Golf Outings 161 and counting

look at all of the times the liar golfed so far.

Remember when lying Donnie said he would be too busy to golf?

Wonder how much he's profited from overcharging the taxpayers for this?

MAGA, 1 golf outing at a time.

George Conway: Trump Needs 2020 Win to Avoid Indictment

George Conway — regular critic of President Donald Trump and husband to White House counselor Kellyanne Conway — suggested on Friday that the president would be correct in thinking he needs to win re-election in 2020 to avoid being indicted.
Conway, a high-profile conservative lawyer, responded to a post on Twitter from New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, which floated the idea that folks in Trump's circle have thought about re-election as a strategy to avoid criminal issues.

Ex-senator challenges Trump to get X-rays proving he had bone spurs during Vietnam draft

A former Democratic senator who lost part of his leg during the Vietnam War challenged President Trump to get X-rays of his feet to prove that he had bone spurs during the draft.
Amid a growing outcry over Trump's recent attacks on the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), a Vietnam prisoner of war, former Sen. Bob Kerrey (Neb.) said Wednesday during CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that “you don’t grow out of bone spurs.”

The daughters of a New York podiatrist came forward last year and said their father may have diagnosed Trump with bone spurs to help him avoid military service.
The daughters of Larry Braunstein, the foot doctor, said they didn't know if he ever examined Trump but that he signed off on the diagnosis as a favor to Fred Trump, from whom their father rented his Queens office.

Who is Bob Kerrey?

Joseph Robert (Bob) Kerrey was a U.S. Navy SEAL in Vietnam during the 1960s and was awarded the Medal of Honor by President Richard Nixon in the White House in May of 1970 for actions he conducted where he lost the lower part of his leg in Vietnam during an action on March 14, 1969. His wounds would end his military service.

Uncle Sal has to admit it about Donnie.

Dumb Donnie is just as good at playing a President as he was at playing a businessman.

Just as good.

Bridget McCain breaks silence over Trump attacks: 'You are a child in the most important role

"Everyone doesn't have to agree with my dad or like him, but I do ask you to be decent and respectful," the youngest of McCain's seven children wrote. "If you can't do those two things, be mindful. We only said goodbye to him almost 7 months ago."

"Even if you were invited to my dad's funeral, you would have only wanted to be there for the credit and not for any condolences," she continued. "Unfortunately, you could not be counted on to be courteous, as you are a child in the most important role the world knows".

Trump goes after McCain over dossier for second straight day

President Trump on Sunday criticized John McCain for a second consecutive day amid reports that an associate of the late Republican senator had shared a dossier of allegations about Trump's ties to Russia with the media.

The dossier contains numerous allegations, including some salacious claims, about the president's ties to Russia. Many of the allegations are unverified.
Sunday marked the second straight day that Trump went after McCain, who died last August after a lengthy battle with brain cancer.

On the one hand, we have cowardly Donnie, a proven liar who gets money from Russia.

On the other hand, we have an actual war hero.

Sorry crooked Donnie, I'm standing with McCain.

The only stain on McCain was he allowed the GOP to put that moron Sarah Palin on the ticket.

Does anyone here think Melania Trump is Donnie's Russian controller?

We know that Putin controls Donnie. But does he use Melania as a cut out?

Hamden school employee's racist tirade caught on video

A New Haven resident and Hamden Public Schools employee resigned after she used racial epithets in an encounter with two people of color at a grocery store, an incident shared in a video Friday night that thousands of Facebook users have re-posted.

The video shows a white woman, whom Superintendent Jody Goeler has identified as former Hamden Public Schools employee Corinne Terrone, using racial slurs. A statement from the school district said Terrone has resigned from her position. According to the district’s website, Terrone was a clerk in the Central Office.

Free speech violation?

Nope, she is free to speak, but not free from the consequences of her hate speech.

Maybe she can start a Gofundme campaign.

Trump asks if FEC, FCC should investigate 'SNL' and late-night shows

President Trump railed against "Saturday Night Live," late night shows, and the media in a pair of tweets Sunday morning.

Accusing the first two of one-sided, biased coverage, Trump questioned whether the Federal Election Commission of Federal Communications Commission should investigate.
"It’s truly incredible that shows like Saturday Night Live, not funny/no talent, can spend all of their time knocking the same person (me), over & over, without so much of a mention of 'the other side.' Like an advertisement without consequences.

Crazy Donnie sounds like he is losing it.
