I added a 6.5 PRC to my long range rifle stable.

I bought a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 PRC to sit alongside my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor.
Just finished loading the first cartridges.
I haven't run ballistics yet, but the PRC should give me about 250fps better velocity with 147's over the 140's I load in my Creedmoor.

6.5 PRC with 147gr ELDM on the left next to my 6.5 Creedmoor 140gr ELDM on the right.

Yep, it's me with my telescope again...

This time I imaged M45 which is also known as Pleiades or 'The Seven Sisters'.
It is a relatively close 444 light years from Earth.
This star cluster is easily visible with the naked eye at night in the Eastern sky.
Much of the blue nebulosity is actually reflection and not emissitivity.
The image is a combined one hour of 5 minute images through each of the Luminosity/Red/Green/Blue filters for a total of four hours of exposure integration.

Out with my telescope again....

I decided to image our closest galaxy this time.
M31 otherwise known as Andromeda.
My telescope and camera combination doesn't have a wide enough FOV (field of view) to image Andromeda in a single image so I had to make a mosaic (or panorama).
I imaged the left side of the galaxy, then the right side, and then I combined the two images into a single image.
This represents about two hours worth of combined 5 minute exposures.

Sheila Jackson Lee on AR15s.

During an TV clip five days ago -

At 25 seconds into the video she says:
“I’ve held an AR-15 in my hand, I wish I had it. It is as heavy as 10 boxes that you might be moving and the bullet that is utilized, a 50 caliber, these kinds of bullets, need to be licensed and do not need to be on the streets.”

A lefty? Yep!
Dumber than dog shit? Yep, as usual!
Why do ignorant Lefties continue to spew stupid shit about things they know absolutely NOTHING about???

Electric Charging Station

Yep, I had my telescope out again.

Here are the last two nebula pictures I took.

These are false color images.
What is different here from my other pics is that I am not imaging broadband RGB (Red/Green/Blue) for a photometric (how the eye sees it) image, but rather a narrow band emission line image.
I replaced the 100nm wide Red/Green/Blue filters with 7nm wide Hydrogen alpha/OxygenIII/SulfurII/ filters.
So the image isn't what the eye would see, but the image represents what the elemental emission lines of those three gases look like when they are mapped to the normal RGB image channels (if that makes sense).
In this image, the SulfurII is mapped to the Red, the Hydrogen alpha is mapped to the Green, and the OxygenIII is mapped to the Blue channels.
This is typically called the 'Hubble Palette' because it is the way many of the Hubble Space Telescope images are presented.

This one is called 'Elephants Trunk' and is located about 2400 light years from Earth:

And this one is called 'Pacman' it is located about 9200 light years from Earth:
